HARLEM COMES TO STAGE IN ‘AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’ PRODUCTION
The Stageworks Theatre production of ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’ was a tribute to the music of Fats Waller during the Harlem Renaissance. The production ran in Tampa on weekends, May 1-17. Travel back to the Cotton Club in Harlem in the sassy, swinging ’30s via such classic tunes as “Honeysuckle Rose” and “Mean To Me” and imagine how the joint jumped. Stageworks players bringing the fun to the stage were: Frank J. Edmondson, III, Latoya McCormick, Tia Jemison, Naomy Ambroise and Tron Montgomery.
