Quarrel At Apartment Complex
Police Ask For Help In Locating Murder Witnesses
Police arrested a 48-year- old man Tuesday after an ar- gument turned deadly. He was charged with second-de- gree murder.
According to the Tampa Police Department, Alfred Lester, 38, and Orin Bivens, 48, were at the Grand Reserve Apartment Complex.
The two men were in the breezeway of building 12 when they became engaged in a verbal altercation. At some point during the argu- ment, Bivens reportedly pulled a handgun and fatally shot Lester. Lester died at
the scene.
Police said Bivens is the
father of a teenage son and Lester was the child’s step- father. The investigation is continuing, but no additional
information was available. The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner’s Office said no funeral home had been chosen by Lester’s
family at press time.

Leads To Fatal Shooting
Detectives with the Sara- sota Police Department are asking for help in identifying two men who were possible witnesses in a death investi- gation over the weekend.
The victim is Derek Dewey, 28, and his cause of death is unknown.
The description of the two possible witnesses is one is a white male, 30 years old heavy set with brown or black hair, and the other is a Black male, appearing to be in his mid-to-late 20s with a thin build.

Man Who Allegedly Killed His Parents May Be In Florida
Suspect Sought In Attempted Robbery, Shooting
One of the U. S. Marshal’s Most Wanted fugitives is sus- pected to be in Florida.
The search for Matthew Dion, 39, intensified after he was charged with second-de- gree murder, arson, and pos- session of child pornography.
On March 24, 2014, Man- chester Fire Department per- sonnel responded to a reported fire and subsequent explosion at the home of Robert and Constance Dion. After suppressing the fire and gaining entry into the home, firefighters found the dead bodies of the elderly couple in the basement of their home.

cause of the fire was arson, and the couple’s deaths were ruled homicides.
The Dion’s son, Matthew, who was known to reside at the home, was
missing from the scene. Evi- dence soon led authorities to believe he was their main suspect.
On September 3, 2014, the Manchester Police De- partment charged Dion with two counts of second-degree murder and arson. Those charges were in addition to an April 4, 2014 child pornography charge Dion was facing. On November 22, 2014, Dion was charged with unlawful flight to avoid pros- ecution.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted robbery and shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning.
Deputies said at 5:51 a. m., four Hispanic males were outside of the En Alguiler Apartment Complex 11766 North 15th Street, sitting on a bench waiting for the day labor vehicle when they were approached by a black male.
The suspect reportedly pointed a gun at the victims and demanded money. At some point during the at- tempted robbery, deputies said the suspect fired several shots, striking here of the four
men. They were identified as Renan Diaz, 52; Genri Gonzalez-Cardona, 35, and Leonardo Garcia- Nandho, 28.
After the shooting the sus- pect fled from the scene. Diaz suffered a wound to his left arm; Gonzalez-Cardona suffered a wound to his left thigh, and Garcia-Nandho suffered wound to his upper hip. All three were hospital- ized with non-life threatening injuries. The fourth person was not injured.
The suspect was described as a Black male, 5’5” tall with a thin build and wearing all black.
