A homegoing celebration for Mr. Willie James “Ricky” Pringley, Jr. will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 11 a. m. at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Ne- braska Avenue, Tampa, Elder Theodis Lane, pastor, with Pastor Antonio Pringley, eulo- gist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Pringley was preceded in death by: wife, Patricia Cox Pringley; father, Willie James Pringley, Sr.; sister, Patricia Pringley; and grandson, Jere- miah Mandy.
He leaves behind to cherish memories of him with: his lov- ing mother, Murvine Greene Pringley of Tampa; 3 children, Desmond L. Pringley, Sr. (Shakira), Tia Pringley (Mike), and Renee Pringley, all of Tampa; 13 grandchildren, Zion Duckett, Jasdeni Pringley, Isiah Duckett, Desmond Pring- ley, Jr., Joshua Mandy, Daijah Pringley, DeKwaun Pringley, and the “apple of his eye,” Jernee Haggins, Tiara Mandy, and DeZhani and Demarj’e Pringley (twins), all of Tampa; stepson, Chavis Cox and kids, Charquise and Charnisse Cox of Tampa; brothers, Robert Batts, Reginald Pringley, and Pastor Antonio Pringley (Fele- cia) of Orlando, FL; sisters, Kathy Pringley Blount (Dean), and Merita Pringley Minor, both of Tampa; nephews, Corey, Moore Sr., Harold Thomas, II, Tavares Thomas, Sedrick Woffard, Jaquez Pringley and Justin Pringley; nieces, Demetrie McCray (Ronarda), Sydney Pringley and Toni Pringley of Blooming- ton, Indiana; 8 great nephews and 3 grand nieces, all of Tampa; uncles, Richard Mur- phy (Margurite), and Rudolph Greene (Marie), both of Inver- ness, FL, and Isiah Murphy (Ilene) of Columbia, SC; aunt, Helen King of Tampa; a host of cousins including devoted cousins, Lillian Tolbert (Rudolph), and Frances Pascoe and family; other cousins and relatives including: the Greene, King, Burney, Wash- ington, Key, Carroll, Brooks and Kingsberry families; brother-in-law, George Cox and daughter, Jasmine Cox of Tampa; and a host of friends including: devoted friends, Randolph Hall (Tossi) of Miami, FL, Isaac Guest and Pa- tricia Dowdell (Cut) and fam-
ily.A native of Tampa, Mr. Pringley grew up in the Central Park Village and Progress Vil- lage areas. He was a resident of Belmont Heights Estates and a member of New Salem Primi- tive Baptist Church.

Friday, April 10, 2015, from 5- 9 p. m., and the family will re- ceive friends 6-7 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.

MS. MAMIE VONSHAE PATTERSON
Homegoing celebration for Ms. Mamie Vonshae Patterson, who passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015, will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 2 p. m. at 34th Street Church of God, Rev. Thomas Scott, pastor, with Apostle Phillip Jenkins, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents, Wes- ley Patterson and Edith John- son.
She leaves to mourn her passing: fiancé, Alex Gonzalez; 5 children, Arnold Nelson, Jr., Herbert Crum, Jr. (Shawnika), Herashio Crum, Janin Gonza- lez and Jazale Gonzalez; 8 grandchildren, Herbert Crum, III, Tayshawn Edwards, Her- bert Crum, IV, Arnold Nelson, III, Herashi’ona Crum, Dere’ona Dunn, Herbert Crum, V, and Herbria Crum; three sisters, Dorothy Johnson and her children, Eric and Keith, Barbara Jordan (Robert), and Jackie Johnson; three brothers, Phil Johnson (Carolina), Michael Johnson, and John Tyler, III and his son, John Tyler, IV; a very dedi- cated sister-in-law, Delphine Hudson and her daughter, Shantel Jenkins; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, sorrowing friends and relatives.
A native of Tampa, Ms. Pat- terson was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed spend- ing time with her grandchil- dren and loved to cook.

Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Marie Taylor Whitehurst, 80, who passed away March 30, 2015, in Savannah, Geor- gia, will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 10 a. m. at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, 3708 E. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Rowe and Beu- lah Taylor; husband, Prince Jacob Whitehurst; sister, Al- berta Shedrick; brother-in- law, David Shedrick; brother, Rowe Taylor, Jr.; and nephew, Bernard Taylor.
Mrs. Whitehurst is survived by: her three children, Jacob (Diane) Whitehurst of Savan- nah, GA, Roderick D. White- hurst of Quincy FL, and Alicia Y. Whitehurst-Hall of Tampa; grandchildren, Sherrell (Lyle) Tard of Maryland, Julius (Ar- mena) Jones of Valdosta, Patri- cia (Desheun) Hines of Tampa, Donna (Iosev) Gogisvilli of Vir- ginia, Roderick Whitehurst of Tampa, Stephen Hall, II and Major J. Mills, both of Tampa, and Marlena and Rosena Shaw, both of Tampa; great grand- children, Alycea and Ethan Tard, Jayce Jones, Konstantin and Tatiana Gogisvilli; sister, Mildred Salter; aunts, Gussie Brown and Mary A. Mrs. Marie Whitehurst was born in Morgan, Georgia, on November 19, 1934, and was a Tampa resident for a number of years on Booker T. Drive. She was the eldest daughter of Rowe and Beulah Taylor, and was married to Prince Jacob Whitehurst.
She served as First Lady and County Mother of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ for Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, a member at St. John Progressive M. B. Church, a member of Pastors’ Wives, Order of Eastern Star Life member, Silver Light #271 of Georgia, Life member and former President Ministers Wives & Ministers Widows Int’l, Tampa Chapter, and a volun- teer at Tampa General Hospital.
She received her degrees from the University of South Florida and Albany State Uni- versity. Mrs. Whitehurst was a retired Teacher of the Hillsbor- ough County School System.

She was a faithful member of Holsey Temple C. M. E. Church and Order of Eastern Stars. Mrs. Singleton was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
