AIKENS
MR. RUDOLPH HARRIS, JR.
In loving memory of Mr. Rudolph Harris, Jr. of Tampa. Yaweh has acknowledged and called home our beloved to His Kingdom, Rudolph Harris, Jr., his religious name of Hebrew is “SolomanTsalachYisrael,” passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
Rudolph ‘Peanut’ was born January 23, 1955, in Leon County, Tallahassee, FL, to the late Rudolph Harris, Sr. and Verline Harris.
He received his primary and secondary education in the Hillsborough County School System.
In his early life, he was a member of Spring Hill Mis- sionary Baptist Church, Tampa, and later converted to a Hebrew Israelite.
He labored as a paralegal, championing the fight of wrongful convictions and overkill in sentencing along the lines of racial disparities in the criminal justice system in the State of Florida. He assisted countless people in gaining their freedom from all racial, ethnic and religious back- grounds.
Rudolph, Jr., was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his two beloved sons, Marqueilus Simone Har- ris Wright and Martye Shinar Harris Gattie; grandchildren, Ahshah, Yashla, Marqueilus, Jr., Elia, Domanic, Layla, Markinna, Markeria, Isaiah, Xavier, Ahshia, Lorrena, Issac, Khalani, Keyon, Tyra and Mar- tye, all of Tampa,; sisters, Dr. Barbara G. Harris, M.D. (John), New Smyrna Beach, FL, Beverly C. Taviere, Teze R. Jones and Kamara M. Marcus, all of Tampa; brothers, Marzuq A. Al-Hakim (Cassandra), Reginald A. Harris, Terrence Z. Harris, Gordon K. Harris, Gerrard D. Jones and Marlon D. Jones, all of Tampa; aunts, Sharon Anderson and Gloria Anderson, both of Deerfield Beach, FL, Gloria Atkins (Lester), Meigs, Georgia, and Janis Reese Anderson of Tampa; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Larry Steadman, Don- ald Steadman, Mike Brown, JC, and Ophelia Marshall, his chosen love of his life and mother of his children, “Joyce N’GeedawYisrael” Joyce Walker.
The family and close friends will have a private ceremony to celebrate the life of their beloved.
His final resting place will be among his beloved grand- parents, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins who preceded be- fore him at Meigs Sunset Cemetery, Meigs, Georgia.

MOTHER EDITH REVELS
Homegoing celebration for Mother Edith Revels, affection- ately known as “Nannie,” who passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015, will be held on Satur- day, April 11, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Cathedral of Faith Church, Inc., 6304 N. 30th Street, Apos- tle James Howell, Sr. pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born on August 15, 1927, to the late George and Modina Conyers Revels in St. Petersburg, FL. She was 87 years old.
Mother Revels attended the public schools of Pinellas and Hillsborough County, Florida, and she was a graduate of George S. Middleton Senior High School in Tampa. She was gainfully employed as a care- giver/housekeeper for Mrs. Eliz- abeth Griffin on Davis Island for several years. She also worked as a housekeeper for the Howard Johnson Hotel chain, where she retired from after more than 20 years of service.
She was a very loveable, car- ing and devoted matriarch to her siblings and a very protec- tive and devoted mother to her daughter, Rosalind. She was a perfect grandmother and aun- tie to her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friendly, peaceful and caring neighbor and friend to others.
She loved cooking, garden- ing, fishing, shopping and car- ing for her favorite furry doggies, Sassy, Kiki and Penny.
Mother Revels was a dedi- cated and faithful member of St. Matthew Missionary Bap- tist Church for approximately 34 years under the leadership of Pastor James H. Howell be- fore transitioning her mem- bership with him to the Cathedral of Faith Church, Inc. She remained a faithful mem- ber for 22 more years under Apostle Howell’s leadership until her passing.
She served faithfully and ef- fectively in the Mother Min- istry. She believed in God and expressed it often in her con- versations and interactions with others.
Mother Revels was pre- ceded in death by: her parents; great grandson, Quinton Williams; and brothers, Harold, Julius, Warren and Mitchell C. Revels.
She leaves to cherish pre- cious and loving memories: a loving and devoted daughter, Rosalind L. Williams Larry; granddaughters, Lorrie A. Williams (James), Audrea A. Allen (Corey), Faith D. Mor- timer (Roncel), Kimberly Mur- ray and Terri Earls (Cedric Cradle); grandsons, Thoua Nealy, III (Celeste), and Johnathan Nealy; great grand- children, Amarius L. Allen, Kanisha L. Allen, Shannon L. King, Thoua Nealy, IV, Talon E. Nealey, Markira L. Nealey, Nevaeh Y. Mortimer, Nina G. Mortimer, Victoria Nealey, Carlos Norton (Patti Murphy, mother), Elisia Murray, Borth- land Murray, Jr., Brianna Murray, Jasmine Earls, Terrell Cradle and Michael Earls; brothers, Franklin D. Revels, Sr. and Alvin L. Revels; sisters, Joyce M. Revels and Gloria Brown; nieces, Nicole R. Tay- lor, Tonya Coles, Modina Rev- els, Regina Revels, Juanita Revels, Gail Lee (Eric), Debra Morris (Harry), and Michelle Hadley; nephews, Carl Norton, III, Dorsey Wiley, Harold Brown, Raphael Brown, Franklin Revels, Jr., Bernard Hadley (Reba), and Alvin Hadley (Carolyn); great nieces, Jekiea Best, Mikeara Harris and Jequea Best; great nephews, Rodney T. MR. TOMMY LEE TILLER ‘TROUT’
Homegoing celebration services for Mr. Tommy Lee Tiller “Trout” of Tampa, who passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., with Pastor Kevin Hobbs, officiating.
Tommy was born October 31, 1940, in Swainsboro, Geor- gia, to the late William and Sadie Tiller. He was the fourth child born to this union. He was educated in the Emanuel County School System. After 30 years of service, he retired from Industrial Supply Steel Corporation. He was a 33rd De- gree Mason.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, Maurice Tiller; daughter, Annie Wilson; brothers, Floyd “Billy” Tiller and Frank Tiller; and grand- daughters, Kashia Singfield and Paulina Bennett.
He leaves to cherish his lov- ing memories with: his wife of 47 years, Annie Bell Tiller; brother, James Tiller of Tren- ton, NJ; sister, Sadie Arvianger of Greensboro, NC; children, Debbie T. Clark (Nathaniel) of Orlando, FL, Pauline Scott of Tampa, Ronald T. Tiller (Deb- orah) of Leesburg, FL, Samuel H. Wilson (Sharon), Charlie Mae Wilson, Jacqueline Walden (Wendell), Thomasina Rena Tiller-King and Sylvia Wilson, all of Tampa; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Homegoing celebration for Mr. Ike Williams, Jr., who passed away Friday, March 27, 2015, at Emory Hospital in At- lanta, Georgia, will be held Sat- urday, April 11, 2015, at 11 a. m. at Mount Olive A. M. E. Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, Pastor Gregory V. Gay, Sr., and Elder Frank O. Gray Sr., officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ike Williams, Jr. was born March 19, 1957, in Tampa, to the late Ike Williams, Sr. and Carolyn Birt Monroe.
He was a native of Tampa and a resident of Lithonia, Georgia for 30 years. He at- tended local public schools and graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1975. He fur- thered his academic pursuits at Florida A&M University, where he was a member of the Marching “100” Band as a Flag Corp. and graduated in 1979, with a degree in Business Edu- cation.
He was employed as a busi- ness manager with United Par- cel Service for 23 years.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and de- voted wife of 30 years Kelly (Edwards) Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; his mother, Carolyn B. Monroe of Tampa; his son, Corey Williams and wife, Kim- berly of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kourtney and Cody Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; his aunts, Barbara J.
