A Group Formerly Known As ‘Destiny’s Child’ Wants To Do Reunion Tour; Album
DESTINY’S CHILD
When Destiny's Child re- united at the Stellar Gospel Awards in Las Vegas recently, it was the first time Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams per- formed together since appear- ing during the halftime show at Super Bowl in 2013 in New Orleans.
When they performed, it was under their individual names. Why?
The threesome want to do a ten-year reunion tour and in- tend to cut a reunion album - but they won't use the group name for that either.
Alhough Destiny's Child is made up of the three ladies, Beyoncé's father and former manager Mathew Knowles owns one-fourth of the group as well. Anytime they do any- thing under the name Des- tiny's Child, he has involvement in it and money from it,' a source close to the group reveals.
None of the members of Destiny's Child want any in- volvement with Mathew, who once managed each of their in- dividual careers as well as the group.
Bravo Gives NeNe Spinoff And Raise To Stay
Kristina To Go Back On Tour
Bobby Brown is leaving daughter Bobbi Kristina's bedside to go back on the road overseas, but if he had things his way ... he'd be canceling the whole
trip.
According to sources,
Brown is scheduled to play three shows in Australia with Treach and Kay Gee of Naughty By Nature at the end of May -- and, for obvious reasons, he is in no mood to go.
The dates are make-ups
NeNe Leakes was re- portedly ready to leave “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” fed up that her career has out- grown the Bravo series, but the network ponied up some huge coins to keep her around – and this time a spinoff se- ries was part of the deal.
Leakes announced her new reality show with Kim Zolciak, called “NeNe And Kim: The Road To Riches” last week, and a source re- vealed what the behind-the- scenes negotiations were.
“NeNe absolutely hated Housewives this season. She hated almost all of the other women and wanted off the show entirely,” the source told Radar.
“But she is the most valu- able person in the entire fran- chise and Bravo was going to do whatever she wanted to keep her. So they offered her the spin-off, which she gladly took,” said the source.
Leakes did the bare min- imum to promote RHOA this season, but the Bravo execs didn’t care and made her re- turn virtually impossible to turn down.

Out Dispute Over Investment
The legal situation involv- ing Lee Daniels and Damon Dash has come to a resolution.
Dash claimed he loaned $2 million to Daniels, enti- tling Dash to participate in the financial success of his projects – including “The Butler,” “Precious” and “Em- pire” – but was never fully re- paid.
On Tuesday, the parties filed papers dismissing the lawsuit, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dash’s attorney Natraj Bhushan said it was a “creative, fair” settlement that “calls for them to work together in the not-so-distant future.”
Bhushan couldn’t offer any specific details given a confidentiality provision.
Dash filed his lawsuit in New York Supreme Court last year and claimed that he sup- ported Daniels so that the filmmaker could produce “The Woodsman.” In return for the money, Dash says he got a written agreement that gave him executive producer credits, 50 percent of rights on the film, and a guarantee that the investment would be repaid with interest from Daniels.
LEE DANIELS AND DAMON DASH
The music mogul says he helped promote Daniels’ ca- reer, got celebrities like Kanye West to perform in promotional support of films and reassuring other stars like Mariah Carey to back Lee after the 2008 film “Ten- nessee” didn’t perform that well.
In lieu of repayment, Dash says he got an offer to roll- over the debt to Daniels’ other films like “Shadow- boxer.” Dash says he ac- cepted, and years later, went to court arguing that more re- cent works from Daniels were covered under the terms of the agreement. Dash de- manded credits, ownership and compensation.
A judge never made a rul- ing on whether to allow the claims. Instead, the parties have worked out their differ- ences.
BOBBY BROWN
for shows he cancelled back in March ... and even though Bobby wanted to postpone again -- so far, the promoters are holding him to his con- tractual obligation.
NENE LEAKES
they offered her a HUGE raise. She already makes the most and now they’re giving her even more money per episode and her bonuses will be bigger too,” the source claimed.
Leakes was already mak- ing a whopping $1.5 million for this season and she made sure she leveraged her un- happiness for her upcoming shows.
“NeNe is a really smart businesswoman,” the source said.
“She even got Bravo to pay her more than they’re paying Kim on the new show. NeNe knows she is the one people want to see and so she’s going to make Bravo pay up to keep her around.”
