WILSON
LUCINDA SMITH HAYES
Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Lucinda Smith-Hayes who passed away on June 28, 2022 will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 12:00 noon at St. John Progres- sive M. B. Church, 2504 Chipco Street, Tampa, Florida Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr. Pastor. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lucinda Smith-Hayes was born in Calvary, Georgia on December 24, 1932, to the late Eddie Smith, Sr. and Mary Bell Butler-Smith. As a young girl her family moved to Havana, FL, where she attended the public schools of Gadsden County. Lu- cinda accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Old Jerusalem Baptist Church. She later married and moved to Tampa, FL. Lucinda was united in holy matrimony to Waymon Hayes on March 6, 1953, and to this union eight children were born. She attended First Union Missionary Baptist Church for many years, and later joined New Beginning Tabernacle M.B. Church Family as a member until her untimely illness and subse- quent demise.
She was preceded in death by:
her parents, Eddie, Sr. and Mary Bell Butler Smith; husband, Waymon Hayes Jr., grandson, Kevin Hayes, sister, Ollie Smith- Shoats; brothers, Eugene Smith, Robert L. Smith, Eddie Smith Jr. and Johnnie L. Smith.
Left to mourn her with fond memories: 4 daughters, Elaine Hayes, Katherine Hayes, Bar- bara Hayes-Joseph, and Char- lene Hayes; 5 sons, Charles Hayes (Cassandra), Waymon Hayes, Mack Hayes (Deborah), Paul Hayes and Reginald Hayes (Nilsa) all of Tampa, FL; 19 won- derful grandchildren, Anthony Hayes, Alvin Hayes, Eric Hayes, Yakima Barnes, Cherie Taylor (Anthony), Demetrius Hayes (Jessica), Telecia Johnson, Corey Hayes, Kenya Dennis (Er- icka),
Renita Hayes-Fredericks, Cornelius Hayes (Jadene), Yu- clemia Ware (Warren), Akilah Peace (Burlin), Jamar Hayes, Keisha Hayes, Tara Hayes, Tru- maine Hayes, Trinity Hayes Ma- hogony Philmore and Marquis Hayes; 64 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Fannie Smith-McBride; 3 brothers, Jeff Smith, Herman Smith (Margaret) and Ernest Smith; 2 sisters-in-law, Jeanette Smith and Lucille Smith; de- voted god daughters, Belinda Blackshear, Bianca Jones, Flora Jordan, Anita Howell, Barbara Green; loving relatives, Terry and Shayla Prather, Sylvia Hayes, Harry Joseph and a host of caring nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday July 8, 2022 at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29 th Street, Tampa, Florida from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Due to the cur- rent CDC restrictions; we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportunity to pay your final respect. Mrs. Margaret Thomas Dunning passed away Friday, June 24, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Wil- liams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33606, with Rev. Isiah J. Williams, Sr., officiating. Interment to follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park

Mrs. Dunning was a native of Quitman, Georgia, and a resi- dent of Tampa for 22 years. She attended Old Brooks High School in Quitman, GA and was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church of Lewes De- laware. She was employed as a Domestic Worker with Dr. James Beebe and Family.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Hiram B. Dun- ning; and son, Harley Dunning.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 1 sister, Minnie Little of Quitman, GA; 2 devoted nie- ces, Diane Williams and Linda Small of Tampa, FL; 3 nephews, Godfrey Thomas (Laura) of Quitman, GA, Larry Crosley (Paula) of Kingston, TN and Gil- bert Gregory of Tampa, FL; god- daughter, Delores Anderson; 3 foster sons, Kelvin Wells, Kirk Wells and Andrew Johnson (Sandra); and a host of great nieces, nephews, and other sor- rowing relatives and friends.

Johnny was born January 25, 1958, to Johnny B. Murphy and late Bertha L. Murphy. He at- tended the schools of Hillsbor- ough County and was proud to call Progress Village his home. He lived in California for many years and most recently in Texas, however he decided to relocate back home to assist family mem- bers.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: his son, Shannon Murphy; granddaughter, Miah Murphy; father, Johnny B. Murphy; step- mother, Geneva Murphy; 2 brothers, Timothy Murphy (Sonja) and Landry Murphy (Ke- meka); 2 nieces, Fredricka Mur- phy and LaTavia Barnes-Murphy; 2 nephews, Austin Crawford and Timothy Murphy II; 2 aunts, Marie Mosley (Earl) and Jannie B.
