MRS. QUANITA SHIANNA CARTER 10/14/1979 – 06/22/2022
Homegoing services for Quanita Shianna Carter, who passed away on June 22, 2022 will be held this Saturday at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 3410 East Wilder Avenue Tampa, Florida, 33610, Pastor Paul Buster, offi- ciating. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Quanita Shianna Carter was born to the parentage of the (Late) Frank Cummings Jr. of Quincy, Florida and Anna M. Johnson of St. Petersburg Florida. She attended the public schools of the Pinellas County, and graduated from Dixie Hollis High School class of 1998.
Mrs. Carter was employed by many organizations throughout years as a health care profes- sional. Mrs. Carter met Philip Carter in 2002 after a few years they were married January 31, 2003. They are the parents of four children. Sister Quanita Carter, her husband, Philip and family are faithful and loyal members of The Church of the
Apostles, Inc. where they served under the leadership of her fa- ther-in-law, Bishop J. M. Carter Sr. She and family served on many committees, but her fa- vorite and close to her heart was the food ministry. They fed many people in the church as well as the community. She loved the youth of the church, and most of all she loved dressing our First Lady Carter during our Pastoral An- niversary. Sister Quanita will be missed.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Frank Cummings Jr.; sisters, Wendy Cummings and Kimberly Cummings; grand- mothers, Gracie Mae Cummings, Anna Mae (Williams) Johnson.
Mrs. Carter leaves to continue her legacy of life and cherish memories: husband, Mr. Philip Carter; 5 children, Arianna Sims, U’nique Carter, Celestine Carter, Philip Carter and Peter Carter; mother, Anna M. Johnson; fa- ther-in-law, Bishop J. M. Carter (Naomi); brothers, Frank Cum- mings, Pastor David Burgess (Sandra), Xavier Johnson; God- Brother, Robert Harris; brothers- in-law, Timothy Gadsden Sr. (Zandra), Elder Johnny M. Carter, Jr.,(Jennifer), Stephen Carter, Sr., Elder Moses Carter, Sr., Karlton Carter, Sr.; sisters, Angela Little (Paul), Denise Jones (Mario), Kristina Thomas (Ed- ward), Jackie McCray (Tinnis), Tia Johnson, Yolanda Johnson, Tiki Smith, Kathrine Mitchell, Rhonda Foster, Tisha Redding, Renee Redding; sisters-in-law, Karla Simmons (Horace), Re- bekah Carter; aunt, Mary Jean McGriff; uncle, Rev. The family of Levi Johnson would like to announce the pass- ing of their Love one who passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on July 02, 2022. Service is sched- uled for July 09, 2022 in Gainesville in the Pine Grove Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
He is survived by: sister, Be- linda Long (Otis); two brothers, Grover Long Sr., Earvin John- son Jr. (Beverly) all of Tampa, Florida.

Shelian Allen, the Ja- maican cop who was caught try- ing to smuggle drugs into the United States, will have her fate decided in July.
Allen was scheduled to be sentenced in June, but the sen- tencing hearing was postponed until July 27 in a federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In February, the 42-year-old was caught smuggling cocaine into the United States, some of which were found in her vagina and stomach.
Allen faces up to 40 years in federal prison, according to a re- lease from the United States At- torney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.’
Allen was suspended from the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) following her arrest in Florida in February relating to lottery scamming and drug traf- ficking offenses.

toms and Border Protection (CBP) revealed that “Allen had a package of cocaine inside her vagina and a package of cocaine inside each of her bra cups,” the release stated.
Additionally, Allen had 90 pellets of packaged cocaine in- side her stomach.
The Jamaican law enforcer was subsequently transported to a hospital where she expelled the 90 pellets which she had swal- lowed.
