MS. ERICA C. GAFFNEY ‘SUPER STAR L.A.’
Homegoing celebration for Ms. Erica Charmaine Benetta Gaffney, a.k.a., “Super Star L. A.” of Tampa, who passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11 a. m. at First Bap- tist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Dr. S. Evan Burrows, Sr., pastor, eulogist. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Erica was born in Tampa, and moved to Los Angeles, California, at a young age, where she attended school. Erica attended First Baptist Church of College Hill.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Valerie Yolanda Thompson; grand- mother, Adell Strafford and grandfather, Benny Gibbs.
She leaves to rejoice in her memory: daughter, Yannika N. Gaffney; son, Mekhi C. Gaffney; father, Benny Gaffney; grandmother, Fannie M. Keith; like a mother, Brenda Washington-Thomas; sisters and brothers, Damita Sessions, Elton Gaffney, LeAn- dre Gaffney, Kesha Gaffney and Kenneth Gaffney; aunts and uncles, Oscar F. Harris and Rudolph J. Hills, both of Jacksonville, FL, Altamese and Juanita Thompson, Geneva Jackson, Audrey Thompson of Newark, NJ, Sgt. Major (Ret.), James N. Erica had so many lives she touched and if we missed any we do apologize.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral home on Friday, November 13th from 5-8 p. m., and the family will
receive friends from 6-7 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church

MR. KENNETH BERNARD OATES, SR.
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Kenneth Bernard Oates, Sr. of Tampa, who passed away Friday, Novem- ber 6, 2015, will be held Thursday, November 12th at 12 p. m. at Thonotosassa Sev- enth Day Adventist Church, 9525 Joe Ebert Road, Seffner, FL, 33584, Pastor Charles, officiating. The in- terment will be in Florida National Cemetery.
Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Kenneth enjoyed golfing and barbequing for his fam- ily and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Augustus Oates; and wife, Kathryn Oates.
He leaves to cherish his memories with: his children, Ferrante Worrell (Pamela), Vonnetta Oates and Kenneth Oates, Jr.; grandchildren, Samari Oates, Tatiana Wor- rell and Jalisa Worrell; mother, Mary Katherine Oates; brothers, Lewis Tay- lor and Vincent A. Oates (Shawn); sisters, Constance Oates Taylor (Francis), and Vonnett Oates Robinson (Marion); and a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
The visitation was held on Wednesday, November 11th from 4-7 p. m. The family re- ceived friends from 5-6 p. m.
The family and friends were asked to meet at the church on Thursday for the service.

MR. ALBERT MCPHERSON, SR.
Homegoing services for Mr. Albert McPherson, Sr. of Tampa, who passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, will be held on Friday, No- vember 13th at 12 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Elder Melvin Lee, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Albert McPherson, Sr. was born on November 22, 1926 in Miccosukee, FL, to the late Edward McPherson and Ella Davis Williams and was raised by his grandpar- ents, Eliza and John Henry Davis.
He served in the United States Navy and fought in World War II.
He worked and retired from the City of Tampa Parks Department after 32 years of faithful service. He also served as a Deacon for many years in the Apostolic Church of Jesus.
He enjoyed hunting rab- bits and fishing. He was a de- voted husband and married for 62 years.
He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Jessie Mar- shall; and sister, Patience Williams.
He leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory: wife, Juanita Marshall McPher- son; children, Mae Carolyn Beacham (Donald), Albert McPherson, Jr. (Frances), Alisa McPherson Howell (Nathaniel), Cynthia McPherson, Shirley McPher- son, Linda Maddox, John Bull, Jr., and Kenneth Bull; grandchildren, Anita McPherson Dixon (Andre) Anitra McPherson, Danielle McPherson, Fredericka D. McPherson, Frederick L. Mrs. Barbara Louise Bynum was a native and life- long resident of Tampa. She was joined in holy matri- mony to Mr. Cleveland B. Bynum on March 13, 1987, and was married for 23 years until he answered the Mas- ter's call.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents, Mr. Johnnie and Mrs. Eliza- beth Harris Coleman; sib- ling, Robert Coleman, Claude Coleman and Shirley Bell; and stepdaughter, San- dra Williams.
She leaves to cherish lov- ing memories with: six lov- ing children, Sherman Orr, Johnnie Watkins, Brenda Watkins, Clevtoria Bynum, Berzina Bynum and Cleve- land Bynum, Jr. and wife, Margaret; five loving sib- lings, Frank Coleman, Ron- nie Coleman, Lizzie Coleman, Betty Coleman and Patricia Coleman; thirteen grandchildren, Devontae' (Tangie), Jylese, Cherrell, Clintina, Najae' (Joshua), Monya, Destini, ZaQuan, Shantelle, Cameo, Chartina, Michael and Roderick; aunt, Mary Smith; uncle, Eddie Smith; a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews; six goddaughters, Santana, Sylvia, Shantae, Bridgette, Teresa and Make- sha; and a host of other rela- tives and friends.

Ms. Mary Reed of Tampa, passed away Friday, Novem- ber 6, 2015.

Ms. Reed was a native of Graceville, FL, and a resident of Tampa for many years. She was educated in the pub- lic schools of Jackson County and was a graduate of Graceville High School.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Darren Reed; parents, Horace and Odie Lee Reed; brother, Jimmie B. Reed; and sisters, Mildred Ann Reed and Arie Lee Reed.
She leaves to cherish a life- time of love and precious memories with: five chil- dren, Rodney B.
