MR. JOHNNIE ‘JOHN’ LAWRENCE RUSSELL
Homegoing services for Mr. Johnnie “John” Lawrence Russell, who passed away Saturday, No- vember 7, 2015, will be con- ducted Saturday, November 14,2015at2p.m.atSt.John Progressive Missionary Bap- tist Church, 2504 Chipco Street, Reverend Dr. Bartholomew Banks, pastor, with Pastor Roy W. Williams, officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memo- ries Cemetery.
Mr. Russell was born No- vember 5, 1943 to the Rev- erend Johnnie M. Russell and Mrs. Viola Russell. He was converted at an early age by the leading of his father.
Mr. Russell was educated in the public schools of Hills- borough County, and fur- thered his education at Springfield College where he earned a BS in Sociology.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by Clara Frye Hospital, Tampa General Hospital, Henry W. Brewster Technical Center and Morri- son’s Cafeteria.
Mr. Russell was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Joe Russell; sisters, Ines Duchine, Mayola Walker and Francine Rus- sell; and grandmother, Pearl Larry.
Those left behind to cher- ish his loving memories are: two sons, John “Gerald” L. Russell (Tonya) of Freder- icksburg, VA, and Jonathan Russell of Tampa; daughter, Regina Williams (Reginald) of Tampa; eight grandchil- dren, Deniece Russell, Alise Russell, Kaitlyn Russell, Tay- lor R. Williams, Reginald B. Williams, II, Jamal Williams, Jakobe Williams and Javen J. Williams; former wife, Katie W. Russell; devoted friend, Rosa M. Walker; five brothers, Thomas Russell (Leola), Carl Russell, Rondal Russell (Vergina), Gregory Russell (Benita), and Daniel Russell of Tampa; three sis- ters, Lorraine Simmons (Alphonso) of Valrico, FL, Dorothy Young of Brandon, FL, and Beverly White of Tampa; ten nieces, Tonya Lavender (Patrick), Timee’ Denson (Oren), Tamala Rus- sell, Mary Russell, Sonya Nicolas (Harry), Alva Sim- mons, Crystal Simmons, Trysha Brown, Tammi Fisher (Tyrone), and Asha Walker; twelve nephews, TeRodney Russell (Velecia), Thomas Russell, Jr., Tavonte Russell, Chad Simmons, Hu- bert Richardson, Herbert Richardson, Tyrone Gilbert, Keith Muhammad (Anna), Carlton Russell, Rondal Rus- sell, II (Ashley), Alex Russell and Gregory Russell, II; great nieces and nephews; two aunts, Lula Bing and Emma Rice, both of Tampa; cousins, the Rice, Walton, Weston, Hayes, Jackson, Cato, Jacobs, Williams, Mar- tin, Russ, Gordon and Chap- man families; very special friend, William Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.

MR. ALBERT DOUGLAS YOUNG, JR.
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Albert Douglas Young, Jr., who passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, will be held on Satur- day, November 14, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Tabor M. B. Church, 2606 W. Grace St., Pastor T. D. Leonard, with Pastor Randy White of Without Walls International Church, officiating. Interment will be held Monday, November 16 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
Mr. Young was a native of Tampa and attended the pub- lic schools of Hillsborough County and New York. He was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, Class of 1967.
His career began as a Po- lice Officer with the City of Tampa Police Department and later fulfilled his dream of joining the Army where he served for over 25 years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans-Post 83.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Peter and Effie Wright; and aunts, Willie Mae Cross (Dave Cross, Sr.), and Mary Francis Benjamin.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving parents, Albert D. Young, Sr. and Is- abel W. Morsley; a loving and devoted wife, Caron J. Her viewing will be held on Friday, November 13th, from 5-8 p. m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, with the family re- ceiving friends in the chapel from 6-7 p. m.
In lieu of flowers, memo- rial donations may be made on behalf of the children.

MR. ZEBBIE BELL ‘TURK’ THOMPKINS
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Zebbie “Turk” Bell Thompkins of Tampa, will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, with Pastor Vick Dennis, officiating, and Pastor Ruby Baker, eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
On Wednesday, October 14, 2015, Mr. Thompkins de- parted this earthly life, thus entering his eternal resting place.
Mr. Thompkins was pre- ceded in death by: his grand- parents, Zeb Thompkins and Beulah Baker Thompkins; and aunt, Mazzie L. Moore.
Mr. Thompkins leaves to mourn his passing and cher- ish memories of him with: 2 daughters, Alva Thompkins- Bolden and Felicia Jackson; 2 sons, Anthony A. Thomp- kins and Zebbie Thompkins, Jr.; grandchild, Jordan Bolden; 2 aunts, Ruby Diggs and Maggie Moore; 2 uncles, Zebbie L. Thompkins and wife, Mamie, and Aubrey L. Thompkins, Sr. and wife, Arether; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; godpar- ents, Carey Barnes and Mary Ball; the Pelaez family; and a host of other close relatives and friends.
Mr. Zebbie “Turk” Bell Thompkins was born on June 13, 1952, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the loving son of the late Daisy Thomp- kins and George Walker. He was their only beloved child.
Zebbie “Turk” was a gen- eral laborer and worked nu- merous jobs throughout his life.
In his free time, he en- joyed traveling, fishing, fix- ing cars, playing Derby Lane and Florida Lotto, and fre- quently visited the Seminole Hard Rock Casino.
He also loved visiting with family and friends.
There will be a viewing from 5-8 p. m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home.
Friends are asked to as- semble at Wilson Funeral Home at approximately 1:45 p. m., Saturday for the ser- vice.
