MRS. LAVERNE HANSELL
The world lost a beloved Mother, Laverne “Tammy” Hansell who received her wings on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, 11 a. m. at New St. Matthew Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 1006 S. 50th Street, Tampa, FL 33619, Rev. Alec Hall, Pastor, with Pas- tor Alphonso Lewis, Officiating. Interment to follow in Orange Hill Cemetery. MASK RECOM- MENDED.
Laverne was born on Decem- ber 12, 1957, in Thomasville, GA to the late Tommy Lee Jones and Annie Lee Jordan. She was a wonderful mother who was al- ways there when we needed her. She had many friends and was well-loved by her family. She be- came a dedicated homemaker and she cared for so many chil- dren throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed listening to old music, playing cards, sitting on her porch, watching old west- erns and game shows, and call- ing her friends and family weekly to check on them. She was educated through the Thomas County Public School System in Thomasville, GA, graduating in 1975. She was a faithful member of Pilgrim Rest M. B. Church in Tampa, FL.

MRS. ROSA LEE LILLY JACKSON
Mrs. Rosa Lee Lilly Jackson passed away on Thursday, Sep- tember 1, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Septem- ber 10, 2022, 11 a. m., at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 N. 30th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Superintendent Charles Davis, Officiating. Interment to be held Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Garden of Memories Cemetery. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Mrs. Rosa Lee Lilly Jackson was born in Tampa, Florida in Hillsborough County on July 4, 1946, to the late Mr. Frank Lilly, Sr. and Rosa Lee Davis Lilly. She was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School System, ul- timately becoming a very proud graduate of Middleton Senior High School. Rosa also attended Beauty School and The University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where she earned an Associate Degree in Food Service Manage- ment from the continuing educa- tion program. She was a dedicated Supervisor of Food Services for the University Com- munity Hospital for over 38 years.
After retirement, she faith- fully served as a proud Parapro- fessional in the Hillsborough County Public School System.
Rosa was a born-again, dedi- cated, and committed Christian who loved God, her church, and her family. She served faithfully in the College Hill Church of God in Christ for over 25 years. She served in the Sunday School Min- istry as the lead teacher of the Women’s Class, sang as a member of the #1 Adult Choir, was the fi- nance secretary on the Trustee Board, and most lovingly led as the President of the Pastor’s Aide Board Committee. Rosa was most adorned for her beautiful smile, her love for her husband, chil- dren, and family.
She was preceded in death by: her sisters, Nettie Jean, Ruthie- Mae, and Eva Mae; brothers, Clarence Earl, and Frank, III.
She is survived by: her hus- band of 54 years, Richard Harold Jackson; her darling daughters, Tanya Lenora, Harriett Marie, and Tiffany Sophia (Vaughn); her beloved grandchildren, Allyssa Mariah, Taylor Rose, and Jackson Theodore; and a host of nieces and nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Sister Edna Mae Rodgers of Tampa, FL passed away on Sat- urday, August 27, 2022. Sister Rodgers was born De- cember 27, 1930, to James and Eliza Nathan. She was a true be- liever of God and a praying woman who truly loved her church. She was often admired to be the best dressed every- where she went. She was a lov- ing and caring Mother who loved children and everyone she came in contact with. She was loved by everyone, but God loved her best.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; 4 sisters; 8 brothers; 4 nephews; and 1 grandson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Linda Rodgers (Ronald), Partenia Jenkin (Donald), Yvonne Nathan, Lisa McFarland Rodgers, Carl Nathan, and Willie Rodgers; 18 grandchil- dren; 30 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great grandchildren; best friend, Jeanette Hooks- Williams; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.

MS. GAIL ANDERSON STADOM
Ms. Gail Sybil Anderson Sta- dom of Tampa, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, 2 p. m. at Mt. Gail Sybil Anderson Stadom was born on December 2, 1950, in Tampa, Florida to Joe Russell An- derson and Colice Wilson Ander- son. Gail was an active member of Mt. Zion AME Church of Riverview, FL, where she served faithfully as an usher and Y.P.D. Director for many years. She grew up in Hyde Park, FL, where she attended Dobyville School and was a proud graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1968. Gail attended Florida Agricultural and Mechan- ical University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Ele- mentary Education. She retired from the Hillsborough County Public Schools System after teaching elementary school for 39 years, with most of those years at Thonotosassa Elementary.
Gail loved spending time with her high school classmates and traveling with them to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ away games. When not traveling, Gail could be found spending time with friends and family and attending her granddaughter’s dance and cheer competitions. Her spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of her loving family and friends. Though she is absent from the body, we know that she is present with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and a host of other family members who greeted her at heaven’s door upon her arrival.
She is survived by: her daugh- ter, Nicole Stadom; granddaugh- ter, Aaliyah Stadom; sister/cousins, Wanda Starling, Berniece Harvey, Natarsha Wil- son, and Tonya Burch (Shannon); godmother, Curtiss Wilson; spe- cial friends, Katherine Elaine Palmer, Gloria Shaw, Linda Fields Harrell, Leonard Wilcox, Barbara Adams, Gloria Adams, Angela Williams, and Janice Carr; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family mem- bers.
