It’s says a lot when a for- mer James Bond believes you would be a worthy pick to carry on 007’s legacy on the big screen.
So it went for Pierce Brosnan, who weighed in on Idris Elba replacing current Bond Daniel Craig when he’s done saving the world as the MI6 secret agent.
Brosnan is noted for his own stint as Bond, which lasted four films from 1994 to 2002.
“Yeah, he would actually,” Brosnan said about Elba dur- ing a recent interview with

DE’VON ‘DAY DAY’ PICKETT AND ERIC PARKER
A member of rapper Nicki Minaj’s crew, De’Von Pick- ett, aka “Day Day,” died and another person was critically injured early Wednesday dur- ing a stabbing in Philadelphia.
“Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly. One was killed,” Minaj tweeted. “They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.”
According to Philadelphia police, Pickett, 29, and Eric Parker, 27, went to a bar with friends late Tuesday in Philadelphia’s East Mount Airy neighborhood. “They got into some type of verbal altercation with several other males, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation,”
Both Pickett and Parker were taken to a local hospital, where Pickett was pro- nounced dead. Parker re- mains in critical condition. Not long before his death, Pickett posted a series of positive mes- sages via Twitter saying “Be Great,” “Namaste” and “LIFE #GODISTHEGREATEST.”

Birdman’s Dealings With Lil’ Wayne Coming To Light
A vehicle driven by Khloe Kardashian, with Kim K, North West and Kylie Jen- ner as passengers, skidded on an ice-cover Montana road into oncoming traffic and eventually ended up in a ditch.
The incident happened Saturday morning. The women were on their way to Bozeman, Montana when a semi-truck drove by their car and kicked up a ton of snow, hitting their windshield and apparently blinding Khloe.

Lil Wayne’s $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records and its head Bird- man was a shock to many.
What we didn’t know is how far the label’s shady deal- ings with Weezy, his Young Money Entertainment and artist Drake ran.
According to 21-page suit, posted Mark H. Jaffe, the f***ery and betrayal goes deep, as seen in the following points:
Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment is tech- nically not owned by Lil Wayne because his “Pa”, Birdman, owns 51% interest in the label while Weezy

Columbus Short Gets First
Major Role Since ‘Scandal’
Anthony Mackie Sentenced By NY Judge
With all the drama sur- rounding troubled actor Columbus Short, we weren’t certain he’d ever book another big television show. As previously reported, in April 2014, the actor an- nounced his exit from ABC’s meghit “Scandal.” Following his departure, Short’s life seemed to unravel.
Now that the dust has set- tled, Short is making his comeback by joining TV One’s original horror franchise “Fear Files,” According to E! News, Short will take on the role of City Councilman Har- vey Jordan, who plans to build a football stadium in a low-income neighborhood that ends up causing friction within the community. A fire breaks out resulting in the death of the last resident who

strongly opposes his plan, leading the community to be- lieve the fire was intentional. Starring alongside Short is “Let’s Stay Together” actress Erica Hubbard, playing the part of a reporter named Ke- lisia Waters, whom Jordan must win over to help sway the media that he had nothing to do with the fatal incident.
“Fear Files” premieres Fri- day, March 13 at 8 p.m.EST on TV One.
Anthony Mackie, the Black or White star, was pres- ent in a Manhattan criminal court when Judge Kevin McGrath handed down the guilty verdict in the daylong trial.
Though Mackie opted not to testify, three NYPD of- ficers took the stand and gave testimony that Mackie was noticeably impaired when he was taken to a police station for sobriety tests following his arrest in November 2013.
Mackie’s attorney, Michael Miller, contended that video of the incident clearly showed that his client was in fact sober and respon- sive during the episode but Assistant District Attorney Leah Branch claims the time between the initial arrest and the start of the video gave Mackie, 36, ample time to sober up.
Nonetheless, Mackie ap- peared to want to just put the

episode behind him when ad- dressing the judge at the end of the trial.
“Thank you, your honor, for the opportunity,” Mackie told Judge McGrath. “Thank you for listening to the case and coming up with a fair conclusion.”
In addition to having his New York license suspended for 90 days, Mackie was fined and ordered to com- plete a drunk driving pro- gram, which he’ll do in his home state of Louisiana.
