“We come together before you on this day, March 30 2015, with one voice in unity, in the hopes that today will be another one of those mo- ments in time. A moment that will forever change the course of music history. For today, we announce the launch of Tidal, the first ever artist owned, global music and entertainment platform.
Our goal is simple. We
want to create a better serv- ice and a better experience for both fans and artists. And that is our promise to the world.
Our mission goes beyond commerce. It goes beyond technology. Our intent is to preserve music’s importance in our lives.
Music is the language of love, of laughter, of heart- break, of mystery. It’s the world’s true, without ques- tion, universal language. There’s not a soul living that can deny its impact.”

Officially released in June (2014), " Don't Tell 'Em" is a top 10 hit (peaked at no. 6) from Jeremih's forthcom- ing third studio album, Late Nights. This record was a huge hit on radio, in clubs, households, whips, and more around the country, and it also performed well on the

Zoe Kravitz Talks About Eating Disorder
Having famous parents may have opened doors for Zoë Kravitz, but it also came with its own pressure.
“I had a really hard time when I was 16, 17, 18. I started with the eating disorder in high school ...,” the 26-year- old daughter of actress Lisa Bonet and rocker Lenny Kravitz said in the April/May issue of Complex. “Just [a hard time] loving myself.”
Her disordered eating reared its head years later, when she played a character dealing with anorexia in the 2014 dramedy “The Road Within.”
The Divergent star’s pa- rents were worried — her mother burst into tears when she returned home from the set one day — and they had good reason to be. Zoë ended up losing weight for the role, so much that her period was thrown off, her immune sys-

tem shut down and her thy- roid gland stopped working properly.
Zoë, who next stars in this summer’s “Mad Max: Fury Road,” feels that the role, as hard as it may have been on her, came with something im- portant for her.
“It made me not only con- front my demons, but also re- alize and accept an insecurity that’s still there, and [that it’s] easy to fall back into that pat- tern,” she told Complex.
