MRS. QUEEN SESLER (ENGLISH)
The funeral service for Mrs. Queen Sesler (English) will be held at Second Bethal Baptist Church, 598 E. County Road 462, Wildwood, FL, on Satur- day, August 1, 2015, at 11 a.m.
Queen was born to Mr. Leroy Mathis, Sr. and Dr. Doris E. Copeland in Clearwa- ter, FL, on January 1, 1956.
She was a former resident of Tampa, educated in the Hills- borough County School Sys- tem.
On July 26, 2015, Queen passed to a better place. Thirty years ago, she married and be- came wife and Queen to her loving husband, Mr. Purcell Sesler of Wildwood, FL.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and brothers, Albert Moore, Jr. and Patrick Mathis; along with a host of other relatives and loved ones.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, James Gadson and wife, Eliza- beth, Christina Daily, Geranger Brooks, Purcell Corbin and Chacara Corbin; grandchildren, Devarus Gad- son, Keana Edwards, Jeremy Gadson, Jordan Gadson, Jaylen Gadson and Jayla Gad- son; siblings, Jenny Moore, Al- freda Moore, Mary Qavawa, Caroline Sesler, Renee Harti- field, Diane Stewart, Erma Rich, Katrina Mathis, Chanel Chambliss, Beatrice Peters, Leroy Mathis, Jr., Troy Mathis, Roy Lee Mathis, Sr. and Willie Guy Mathis; uncle, Freddy Mathis; brothers- and sisters- in-law; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; and a special goddaughter, Teira.
The viewing will be held on Friday August 31, 2015, from 6- 8 p. m. at Second Bethal Bap- tist Church, Wildwood FL.

PASTOR LARRY WHITE
Pastor Larry White was born to a believing family on August 31, 1954, in Vienna, Georgia. He was the fourth son of Deacon Arthur Lee and Sis- ter Mary Emma White. At an early age, the family moved to Tampa, where they became members of the Oak Hill Mis- sionary Baptist Church. His family later moved their mem- bership to New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa, where he was baptized at the age of 11 by the Reverend E. Bentley.
He received his formal edu- cation in the public schools of Hillsborough County. He was a star sprinter on the high school track team that was so fast he was nicknamed “Rabbit.” He graduated from Hillsborough High School in the class of 1972. After high school, he en- listed in the U. S. Army.
Pastor Larry White preached his first sermon at the New Mount Olive M. B. Church, Tampa, in 1976, under the leadership of Dr. C. P. Epps. Nine years later, he con- tinued his preaching and teaching the Bible and was or- dained in 1985 at First Baptist Church, Lincoln Gardens in Tampa, under the leadership of Reverend John A. Stephens.
After learning that Shiloh
Missionary Baptist Church in
Pahokee, FL, was seeking a
Preacher, in 1993, Rev. White
proceeded to fellowship with
the church family and a few
months later, was called as the
newly appointed pastor. Rev-
erend and Sister White cele-
brated 22 years of service to
Shiloh M. B. Church on July 12th.
Throughout his tenure at Shiloh, Rev. White was an ac- tive member of the Pahokee Housing Authority Board of
Directors (1998-2001), and participated in voter registra- tion and rides to the pools. He was also a dedicated volunteer of the Western Palm County SHIP Spirit 2000 Ministerial Leaders and Public Health Workers committee.
Pastor White fought a hard battle against a lengthy illness and was called home to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2015.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Deacon Arthur White, Sr.; daughter Daphne Latrice; brothers, Arthur Lee White, Jr. and James J. White; sister, Linda McKenzie; mother-in-law, Doretha Beal; and father-in-law, James Beal.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and de- voted wife of 31 years, Vivian P. White; daughters, Lori White- Staley (Rickey), Tampa; broth- ers, Jimmy White (Ann), Reverend Donald White (Marie), and Lawrence White (Vivian); grandchildren, Jack- son, Kennedy and Grant (Tampa), and Wynett Jordan (Cordele, GA); uncle, Robert (Marie) Overstreet (Missis- sippi); sisters-in-law, Vanetta Brown (Leon), and Valerie Brannon; brother-in-law, Antwan Beal (Detroit, MI): very close cousin, Ruth Jones (Tampa); devoted friends / ex- tended family, Freddie Burris and Fred Carswell (Pahokee); godmothers, Verdell Johnson, Mary Tyson, and Margaret Pe- terson-Long (Oscar) of Tampa, and Allie Biggs (Pahokee); god- sisters, Celeste Howard, Emma J. Hearns, Gloria Robertson, Jennifer and Jessica Cliatt, Gloria Williams, Latonya Riley and Margo Roberts (all of Tampa), and Alvina Angram (Pahokee); godbrothers, Rev. Zachary Roberts, Jeffrey Roberts, Carlton Roberts, Michael Hudgins, Jr., James Glover, Sr., Reuben Glover, Sr., and Fred Glover, Earl Glover, Jr. (all of Tampa), Ken- neth Biggs (Pahokee), and Charles Biggs (San Antonio, TX); godchildren, ValTrenda Cesar (Riverview, FL), Jerome (Timeka) Williams (Port St. Lucie, FL), Alkeem Edmond (Royal Palm Beach), Alnesha (Rev. William), and Jermiyah Holes (Belle Glade); and many more godchildren too numer- ous to name; he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; and the Shiloh family and friends.
