This celebration will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 3 p. m. in the sanctuary. “We are excited about the future ministry of our church under the leadership of our new pas- tor. We desire that you join with us as we welcome him to our church and to the community,” the commit- tee stated.

The City Of Tampa Black History Committee, Inc. Is Accepting Scholarship Applications
The City of Tampa Black History Committee, Incorporated (COTBHC), is now accepting applications for vocational/technical training and college scholarships from African American high school seniors graduating from schools within Hillsborough County.
To assist students in paying for the cost of a post-secondary ed- ucation, COTBHC will be awarding scholarships in five different cat- egories. Several of the scholarships are in honor of former City of Tampa employees. Criteria varies per scholarship. However, each scholarship applicant will be required to write an essay on a topic relevant to the scholarship category.

The application deadline is Friday, April 1, 2021.
