HBCU College Fair And Decision Day At Blake High
B-CU, FAMU Alumni Associations Partner For 5th Annual HBCU Round Up 2017
Students in grades 9- 12th and their parents are invited to the Historically Black Colleges and Univer- sities (HBCUs) College Fair and Decision Day.
The event will be held at Howard W. Blake High School on Saturday, April 1, 2017,10a.m.–2p.m.in the Media Center. The school is located at 1701 North Boulevard (33607).

at Blake, said the following schools will be participat- ing in on-site admission: Bethune-Cookman Univer- sity, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, and Edward Waters College. Items nec- essary for the on-site ad- missions are: completed application, completed res- idency forms, application fee/waiver, official high school transcripts, official ACT/SAT scores, letters of recommendation and per-
sonal essay.
Other colleges and uni-
versities expected to partic- ipate are: Florida Memorial University, Florida A&M University, Hillsborough Technical College and Hillsborough Community College.

Bethune-Cookman Uni- versity Hillsborough County Alumni and Florida Agricul- tural & Mechanical Univer- sity Tampa Alumni are partners for the 5th Annual HBCU ROUND UP 2017.
The HBCU Round Up is a day of fun that will feature line dancing, games, food, a health fair, college awareness information, and community vendors.
This fun-filled event will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 12 p. m. – 4 p. m. at the Tampa Heights Com- munity Center, 2005 N. Lamar Avenue. The HBCU Round Up is an opportunity to learn about the programs and community service proj- ects both Alumni Chapters provide to the Tampa Bay Community.
High school students are welcomed to come out and speak with Representatives of both Bethune-Cookman University and Florida A & M University. Other HBCUs will also have local represen- tatives on hand to provide in- formation about their schools.
