RAY WILLIAMS
DEACON GEORGE J. HICKS
Deacon George J. Hicks, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. The Homegoing Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor M. B. Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Minister William Cade will be the Eulo- gist and Presider for the serv- ice. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mr. Hicks was born and reared in Monticello, FL. He at- tended the public schools of Jef- ferson County. In 1958, Young George moved to Tampa, FL, where he was a resident for 64 years. While in Tampa,
George established himself in the West Tampa area. He also followed the Church covenant, and immediately united himself and his family with the Mt. Tabor M. B. Church under, then, Pastor T. J. James, where he was ordained as a deacon. Mr. Hicks was employed with JC Penny for many years. After his retirement, he founded and opened his small business. He served and helped many in the community as an electronic technician.
Deacon Hicks is preceded in death by: his parents, Ansel and Emma Hicks; daughter, Andre Hicks; granddaughter, Lenitra Salary; sister, Mary Price; and brothers, Jerry, Johnny, Jerome, Eddie, Joseph, and Ansel, Jr. Hicks.
He leaves to celebrate his wonderful memories; his wife, Mrs. Pamela Hicks; daughters, Min. Altamease Barnes (Odell), and Adrianne Hicks; a loving stepson, Freddie Wright; sis- ters, Bernice Williams, Geral- dine Brown, Ella Johnson, Annie Berillo, and Sandra Washington; brothers, Sammie Lee (Sandra), Herbert (Juanita), and William Sr. (Jen- nifer) Hicks; 11 stepchildren; dear friends, Wilmon Walker, and Charles Robinson; and an adoring host of grands, great- grands, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

MR. REGINALD ALLEN BROWN, III
Reginald Allen Brown, III, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, 2 p. m. at Heaven Destiny Assem- bly of God, 4104 E. Ellicott Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Lorenzo Magwood, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Reginald was a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 23 years. He attended Middleton High School, where he graduated with honors. He en- joyed spending time with family and friends. Reginald was an out- standing son and an amazing family member. He loved his sib- lings, cousins, and close friends.
To honor Reginald, the family is asking that everyone wear pur- ple, Reginald’s favorite color.

MR. MARION REEVES
Mr. Marion Reeves passed away on August 3rd, 2022. Fu- neral Services will be held Satur- day, August 13, 2022, 11 a. m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602. Interment to follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery. MASK RECOMMENDED
He was born March 9th, 1938, in Tampa, FL, to Marion Reeves and Ovida Maria Rodriguez. He was educated at St. Peter Claver Catholic School and was a gradu- ate of Middleton Senior High School. In 1962, he received his bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University – in Industrial Arts Education. He did further study at the University of South Florida and Florida A&M Univer- sity. Marion was an instructor at W. B. Henderson Elementary School for three years. He later was an instructor at Nathan B. Young Junior High School, in the field of Industrial Arts Education and Technology Education. He en- joyed working with woods and plastics, making furniture, mak- ing fraternity items, and tinkering with cars.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and many, very close friends.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: sons, Marc (Sonia), and Kolbe (Selena); daughter, Kim- berly (Alex); grandchildren, Tonia, Ovida, Marc, II, Ashley, Alex, Jr., Amber, Kolbe, Jr., and Aniylah; great grandchildren, Ma- lina, Ryane, Ari, and Noa; cousin, Sheryl West; devoted friends, John Daniel, Robert Nelson, Del Stewart, Bernard King, Joe Bow- den, Joe Jackson, Mack Hill, and Chester White.
Marion was a lifelong member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and Kappa Alpha Psi Fra- ternity.

MRS. LINA TILLMAN

Mrs. Lina was a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 91 years. She attended Middleton High School Class of 1950, Hillsborough Community College and was a member of Tyer Temple United Methodist Church. She was employed as a Pre-School Teacher at Rosa Valdez Learning Center, where she retired after 36 years.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Johnny James, Sr., and Lina Mae James; daughter, Denise C. Ferguson; son, Ronnie J. Tillman; brothers, Johnny James and Willie James; and nephews, Anthony Frederick, Nathaniel James, and Robert Gillespie.
