MRS. THERESA LOTT-ALLEN
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Theresa Lott-Allen will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11 a. m. at St. John Progressive M. B. Church, 2504 E. Chipco Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Theresa Lott-Allen was born in Tampa, Florida on No- vember 13, 1936 to Harley and Mary Lott. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County. Mrs. Allen was of the Baptist faith and was a faith- ful member of St. John Progres- sive Missionary Baptist Church. She served on the Usher Board until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Harley and Mary Lott; husband, Otis C. Allen, Sr.; 1 daughter, Theresa Renee Allen- Knight; 4 sons, Graddy Allen, Arthur Allen, Terence Allen and Otis Allen, Jr.; 2 grandsons, Eli- jah and Eugene Moore; 3 sisters, Lucille Lott-Hudson, Rose Mary Lott-Dove, Dora Lott Williams and 1 brother, Elijah Lott.
Theresa leaves to cherish lov- ing memories with: her children; 1 daughter, Yvette Allen; 1 step- daughter, Melissa Jackson; bonus daughters, Debra Leah Dicker- son-Canady (Ernest) and Rita Lark; 3 sons, Dwight Lott, Sr., James Lott, Sr. and Garry; 4 bonus sons, Fredrick (Starlette), Freddie (Betty), Edward (Ann) and Terry; grandchildren, Tia, Si- mona, Jessica, Erica, Eric, Ebony, Temika, Patricia, Michelle, Chancey, Evelly, Tannille, Sheon- tra, Karethea, Olethia, Laquita, Diandranique, Brittany, Lareka, Amy, Katina, Amondo, Kelvin, Devon, Dwight, Jr. (Tynesia), James, Jr., Cedric (Marquita), Jasmar, Jermaine, Earnest, Jr.,
time on his hands, Sam became a staple at Rogers Park Golf Course working and honing his golfing skills alongside his brother, Eddie. Sam, as his brothers be- fore him, was baptized at Grace Mary M. B. Church as a young teenager. Sam lived in Tampa his entire life, with his primary resi- dence being North 10th Street. His home was the focal point of all things’ family. All his siblings, who returned home to Tampa, stayed at Sam’s. We laughed, we cried, we prayed, and we played. In the image of his Father, he opened his home to friends and family alike — we celebrated Thanksgivings, Christmases, New Years, birthdays, golf talk — it was the hub like no other!
He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Dr. Rubie Malone and Bernida Smith, II; brothers, Eddie J. Smith, Jr., and David Smith.
Sam is survived by: his chil- dren - daughters, Shawntel John- son and Angel Green (Damian); grandchildren, Yanajia, Braya, Brooklyn, Marques, and Mes- siah; siblings, Helen Johnson, Herbert Smith (Jeris), Albert Smith (Debra) Aaron Smith, Va- lerie Harrell (James), Stanley Smith (Doris), Rhonda Ellis (Rick), Klisa Smith, Sally Smith; a host of nieces and nephews; cousins, Curley Day (Marjorie), Cordelia Johnson, Brenda Bridges, Robert Randolph (Patri- cia), Rodney Randolph, Johnnie Stewart, Derrell Stewart (Hope), Ronnie Stewart (Myra), Andre Stewart and a host of friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday August 12, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida. MR. ARNOLD FIELDS, JR.
A Celebration of Life remem- bering Mr. Arnold Fields, Jr. who sunset on August 2, 2022, will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 10:30 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 North 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, Rev. Dr. S. Evan Bur- rows, Senior Pastor with Rev. Christopher Jarnegan, Eulogist/ Officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
The Lord shined upon the union of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold and Vera Fields on July 23, 1936, in Tampa, Florida with the birth of their son, Arnold Fields, Jr. He was converted, at an early age, and baptized in the Baptist faith, where he became a mem- ber of First Baptist Church of College Hill. He was an avid fisherman, and his catch of choice was “brims and catfish.” He worked for Coca-Cola Bot- tling Company during his early years; however, his permanent career journey led him to Ryder Truck Rental as a truck driver where he retired after several years. Arnold transitioned to re- ceive his eternal reward on Au- gust 2, 2022.
Arnold was preceded in death by: his parents, Arnold and Vera Fields; siblings, Vera Prince, Do- lores Green, Robert H. Fields and Ronald E. Fields; brothers- in-law, Oscar Harris, Frank, Lu- cious, and Timothy Langston, Carl Stafford and sister-in-law, Thelma Branton.
He leaves fond memories to carry on his legacy: with his wife of 66 years, Hazel E. Langston Fields; he was blessed with four daughters, Janice (Anthony) Cole, Sr., Linda Edwards, Debo- rah Fields, Harriett McNealy (Gary) and one son, Michael E. Fields; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His siblings, Betty Glenn, Eartha Thomas (Dennis), Thelma Stafford, Patricia Johnson (Arthur), Sharon Canty (Lenzo); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Edwina Fields; brother-in-law, Charles E. Langston and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Sat- urday, August 13, 2022 at the church (First Baptist Church of College Hill) from 10:00 -10:30 a.m. prior to the service. THE FAMILY REQUEST THAT MASK MUST BE WORN DURING THE VIEWING AND SERVICE.

MR. SAMUEL RONALD SMITH
Mr. Samuel Ronald Smith passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. A homegoing cel- ebration will be held on Saturda, August 13, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Grace Mary M. B. Church, 3901 N. 37th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Elder James R. Reed, Jr. officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the U. S. Navy Honor Guards. Interment will be held on Satur- day, August 20, 2022 at 10:30 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Samuel was the sixth of thir- teen children born to Eddie J. and Bernida V. Smith. Sam was a product of the Hillsborough Pub- lic School System, graduating from Middleton Senior High School in 1966. He served two years of active military service in the Navy; and after receiving his Honorable Discharge, continued his educational journey at Florida A&M University. An avid golfer, Sam was one of four brothers joining the Golf Team at FAMU.
After graduating in 1974 with a BS in Business Administration, Sam returned to Tampa and began his professional employ- ment with the City of Tampa in the Department of Code Enforce- ment. His retirement in 2007 ended a 29-year career track of dedicated public service. With
