St. Peter Claver Council Hosts Annual Father’s Day Dinner
On Saturday, June 20th, the St. Peter Claver Council of Catholic Women held their annual Father’s Day Dinner. For more than ten years the women have served a home cooked meal to the men of the parish.
The soul food menu in- cluded greens mac & cheese, rice, green beans, navy beans corn bread, turkey, ham, roast pork, potato salad, green salad, and an assortment of desserts.
Entertainment was pro- vided by the Beulah Baptist Institutional Church Men’s Choir.
Some of the men also won prizes.
The members of the Council of Catholic Women would like to thank all who helpedmake this project a success.
