Cecil Lee Mathews was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He also resided on MacDill A. F. B., 1972 —- 1973, with his brother, Arnold Mathews.
He was laid to rest with full military honors at Great Lakes Cemetery, Holly, Michiga
