Seniors Celebrate Hawaiian Style Birthdays

Recently, a group of senior citizens gathered at Ragan Park Community Center, 1200 E. Lake Avenue, to celebrate their birthdays. The theme for this celebration was Hawaiian Style.
Every quarter, they meet to honor those who have reached another milestone in their lives. During this meeting, they cele- brated those who had birthdays during the months of July, Au- gust, and September.
Celebrating 55th Wedding Anniversary
MR. AND MRS. JOSEPH (FRANCES) GRIFFIN
Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Frances Griffin are celebrating their 55th Wedding Anniversary. Joseph and Frances Griffin were married September 21, 1963.
They owned a successful grocery store in Tampa in the ’60s and ’70s. They went on to establish a new business in 1978 named Farmer Joe's Fruit and Produce. They operated the new business and served the community for over 30 years.
“We just wanted to take the time and congratulate our parents, grandparents, friends. All our love, Joseph and Jomesha Griffin, Alphonse Stewart and Caroline Griffin Stewart, Sohn and Shuntae Griffin, 11 grand- kids, and family and friends. We love you.
