Monday Gun Violence:
Quarrel Leads To Fatal Shooting
Man Shot On East
     The Tampa Police De- partment is currently investi- gating a shooting that has left one person dead and another injured. The shooting took place at the T & T Auto Shine at the intersection of N. 14th Street and E. Columbus Drive, Monday afternoon.
According to police, the incident took place shortly after 1:30 p.m., when an ar- gument took place involving at least three people. At some point as the argument pro- gressed, a gun was produced. An unidentified suspect is al- leged to have shot a 24-year- old man and a 15-year-old teenager.

 Dies At Hospital
 The shooting took place at the intersection of E. Colum- bus Drive and N. 14th Street, Monday afternoon. One man died and a teenager was seriously injured.
A man died Monday evening at a local hospital after being shot while at the corner of E. Chelsea and N. 35th Street, around 3:30 p.m., Monday.
According to the Tampa Police Department, this marks the 24th murder this year, surpassing the number of people killed last year at this time. This was also the second murder that took place on Monday.
Police have released very little information about the shooting or the victim. How- ever, the man has been iden- tified by family members as Zavion ‘Zay’ Williams. They have also not released any information about the suspect.
As the investigation con- tinues, Tampa Police Chief Mary O’Connor said in a press conference that she is encouraging people who see teenagers on social media with guns to contact someone who can investigate the inci-

The man that was one of the people that died in vio- lence on Monday has been identified as Zavion ‘Zay’ Williams.

No arrests had been made at press time. The investiga- tion into the shooting is con- tinuing.
