Of Zika Virus Confirmed
On Tuesday, Governor Rick Scott confirmed the first case of the Zika Virus in the Tampa Bay Area. The case is one of five newly reported cases that is not travel-related.
One of the new cases was discovered in Pinellas County and the other four are in the Wynwood section in Miami- Dade County.
Governor Scott said, “We learned that the Florida Department of Health is inves- tigating one new individual with non-travel related Zika in Pinellas County. While this in- vestigation is ongoing, the De- partment of Health still believes that ongoing active transmissions are only occur- ring in the two previously identified areas in Wynwood and Miami Beach.
Residents are urged to re- move any standing water around their homes such as buckets, flower pots, trash can lids, animal dishes or anything that will hold water.
The symptoms of the dis- ease are mild and includes fever, rash, joint pain, con- junctivitis, muscle pain, and headaches.
Pregnant women are urged to use extra precautions be- cause the disease can result in harm to the fetus, officials said.

Following Truth, Rejecting Lies
Lord, I pray that (name of child) will never be able to get away with lying – that all lies will come to light and be ex- posed. If she (he) lies may she (he) be so miserable that con- fession and its consequences will seem like a relief. Help me to teach her (him) what it means to lie, and effectively discipline her (him) when she (he) tests that principle. Your Word says that when He, the spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you not all truth (John 16:13).
If you love me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper that He may abide with you forever – the spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, be- cause it neither sees Him nor knows Him but you know Him for He dwells with you and will be in you. JOHN 14:15-17
