On Monday, a federal judge sentenced an Alabama resident to 6 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to access device fraud and aggravated identity theft on June 6, 2016.
U. S. District Judge Steven D. Merryday sen- tenced Terrell Tramone Brown, 48, to 6 years and 8 months in prison.
According to court docu- ments, Brown’s Florida crime spree began August 28th of last year when he pur- chased a 2015 Cadillac Es- calade for $102,024.15 from Dimmitt Cadillac, in Clearwa- ter. At the time of the pur- chase, Brown used counterfeit Kentucky driver’s license bearing another per- son’s information, including that person’s date of birth, and Social Security number. The driver’s license had Brown’s photograph on it.
Investigators made con- tact with that person who now lives in Texas on Febru- ary 19, 2016. He told police he never gave anyone permis- sion to use his information to secure a loan and that he did not know Brown.
Brown was stopped driv- ing the Escalade in Hernando County on February 23, 2016. He was taken into custody for violation of supervised re- lease of an earlier federal con- viction for counterfeiting, officials said.

A search of Brown’s de- vices revealed that he had previously attempted to pur- chase a 2015 Dodge Charger for $49,169.14 and a 2014 Range Rover for $93,679.89, using stolen identities.

When detectives arrived at the residence, they made con- tact with Williams’ father, Earl Alston, 65. He confirmed Williams was inside the resi- dence.
Det. Chris Cramer ob- served Williams trying to con- ceal himself, and challenged Williams giving him verbal commands to show his hands. Williams reportedly disre- garded Cramer’s commands and stood up, reaching into his waistband. Williams report- edly pulled out a handgun and pointed it at Cramer. Cramer feared for his life, and fired his

handgun at Williams, missing him.
Williams fell to the ground and surrendered. He was taken into custody and the handgun was recovered on the ground underneath him.
Detectives said the handgun they took from Williams was previously stolen in a residen- tial burglary.
Williams was charged with aggravated assault on a law en- forcement officer, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and other charges.
Detectives also arrested Al- ston and charged him with being an accessory after the fact for intentionally harboring Williams, who was a wanted felon.
