Riverview High Student Passes Away Days After Choking At School
The parents of a Riverview High School stu- dent are trying to find out what actually happened to
their daughter, who report- edly had a seizure, or choked at school last week and died a few days later.
school officials, hospital staff and have not received an- swers to clarify what hap- pened.
The teen’s mother, Khalilah Omar, step-fa- ther, Marcus Williams and other family members have been on the search for answers as to what actually happened.
The parents were told the
child had a seizure, choked, and had several heart at- tacks.
After contacting the School District, the Sentinel was unable to receive any ad- ditional information about the incident. We were told, “We cannot provide any in- formation regarding a stu- dent due to student privacy laws.”
