Shown from left to right are: Attorney Warren Hope Dawson, a practicing attorney and pioneer of the Civil Rights Move- ment; retired Attorney Delano Stewart, who was also active in the Civil Rights Movement and the first African American attorney to practice in Hillsborough County, State Representative Ed Narain, Ms. Shirley Griffin, a long time community ac- tivist in Progress Village, and James Hargrett, Jr., the first African American from Hillsborough County to serve as a State Representative and State Senator.
