MRS. EVELYN PARIS WILSON
In Loving Memory of Mrs. Evelyn Paris Wilson of Tampa, Florida, who passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022. An on- line Memorial Service for Mrs. Evelyn will be conducted Satur- day, April 16, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. via zoom. Brother Keith Lee of the Palm River Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL, 33610 at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Wilson grew up in Sandersville, GA, and was a resident of Tampa for 50 years. She attended Washing- ton County Public Schools and was a member of the Palm River Congregation of Jeho- vah’s Witnesses. Mrs. Evelyn was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed serving Je- hovah, traveling, gardening, and being with her family.
She is preceded in death by: her father, Green Paris, Jr., mother, Julia Paris Anderson; brothers, George Paris, and Arthur Paris; and sister, Essie Clark.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband of 46 years, Mr. Richard A. Wil- son, Sr.; adoring sons, Derrick Wilson, Richard A. Wilson, Jr., (Pauline), Jason Wilson (Stacci); grandchildren, LaVette, Quawnlindreia (Chris), Khia, Asiah, Elijah, Jacci, Kynder; great grandson, Nasir; four sisters, Julia Wil- son (Bernard), Sandra Wynn (Salinto), LaTonya Matos (Juanito), and Rhonda Williams; two brothers, Carl Paris (Emma), Esq. Clinton Paris (Samanthia); special friends, Gail Jones, Sharon Brown and Arlene Arhana; car- ing aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, spiritual family, dear friends, and com- munity family.
The visitation will be held at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave, Tampa, FL, 33606, Friday, April 15th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to connect via zoom for the Memorial Service on Saturday, April 16th at 1:30 p.m.

CAPTAIN KENNETH DEVAUGHN ALLEN
A Celebration of Life Service for Captain Kenneth DeVaughn Allen, will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, Florida, at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Dr. Glenn B. Dames, Jr., with Rev. Charles R. Ramsey, of St. John A.M.E. Church, Offici- ating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Tampa, Florida.
Captain Kenneth DeVaughn Allen was born in Tampa, Florida, on October 6, 1948, to the late Mrs. Catherine Allen Williams and Adolph Williams.
His education includes at- tending St. Peter Claver Catholic School, Middleton High School, Hillsborough Community Col- lege, Bethune-Cookman College (University) and University of South Florida. His highest edu- cational achievement was when he graduated from the FBI Na- tional Academy’s 132 Session in Quantico, Virginia March 25, 1983.
He started his law enforce- ment career with the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office June 26, 1972, and served until retiring on June 30, 2003. His church memberships include New St. Paul A.M.E., Tampa, where the Rev. Patrick Crews is Pastor and St. John A.M.E., Fair- burn, Georgia, where the Rev. Charles R. Ramsey, Jr., is the Pastor.
Being a product of the Allen Family’s love and guidance and recipient of the Selmore Family’s sharing of love and support, he leaves many family members and friends who THANK GOD for his mentoring, protecting, guiding and loving them. Leading the re- joicing of thankfulness is his lov- ing wife, Mrs. Jacqueline R. Allen whom he married in 1970; their children, Captain Kenneth D. Allen, II, (Commercial Airline Pilot) and Kavonna P. Allen (Bio- medical Engineer). These he considered his priceless jewels that GOD blessed him with by bringing them into his life. This is his legacy he leaves behind.
There will be a viewing on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.

MR. HERBERT BOLEN
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Herbert Bolen, who passed on April 10, 2022, will be held on Wednesday April 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with a local Pas- tor officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Herbert Bolen was born on February 3, 1934, in Tampa, Florida, to the parentage of Ben Bolen and Ophelia Lewis Bolen. He was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1954. Mr. Bolen was a retired Master Elec- trician. He was a member of Tyer Temple United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Walker.
Mr. Bolen was preceded in death by: his loving wife, Lillian T. Bolen.
He leaves to cherish precious memories of him with: 2 daugh- ters, Ardrea (Ted) Cannedy and Ophelia Bolen; 2 granddaugh- ters, Nia Lillian Bolen-Daniels and Brandi S. Timmons; 1 grand- son, James Hart, III, and a host of other relatives and friends.

MRS. ANNIE MARIE ‘ANNIE’ GADSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Annie “Anne” Marie Gadson will be held on Saturday April 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Cathedral COGIC, 6450 County Road 579, Seffner, Florida, with Superintendent Jesse Smalley, Officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Mayberry Cemetery, Seffner, Florida.
Mrs. Annie (“Anne”) Marie Gadson, entered this world on Sunday, September 18, 1949, in Seffner, Florida. The second child, and eldest daughter of Edna Mae Johnson, and the late Andrew Johnson.
Anne’s favorite past-times were attending church, doing missionary work, volunteering at nursing homes, praising God and reading her Bible. She was always a light, a beacon of in- tegrity, selflessness, service, compassion, morality and strength. Anne enjoyed travel- ling with her family, spending time with her grandchildren, walking, going to the beach, cooking/baking and shopping.
She was a graduate of Hills- borough Community College and St. Leo University. Anne maintained a focus on education in both her family and profes- sional life, as evidenced by her employment at the University of South Florida for twenty-six years, and with Hillsborough County Schools prior to her re- tirement.
No matter where Anne was, she desired to be in the presence of the Lord and gather with her fellow parishioners in worship.
She was a faithful Christian and member of the C.O.G.I.C in Seffner, Florida, and Greater Works Int’l Fellowship in Houston, Texas.
Anne also dedicated her life to her children and grandchil- dren. She was a committed mother who did everything in her power to ensure the safety, success and well-being of her children. She was an uninten- tional, yet proud, “Gator Mom” as two of her four children graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Anne was special, as anyone who met her soon understood. Her level of commitment to those whom she loved were un- paralleled, as was her strength and resolve.
Anne was preceded in death by: her father, Andrew John- son; brothers, Belton Johnson and Clarence Johnson; nephews, Deltorrio Johnson and John Paul Brown.
Anne leaves to cherish lov- ing memories with: her four children, Katharis Gadson, Joseph Gadson, Gabrielle Gad- son and Collette (Gadson) Arm- stead; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; mother, Edna Mae Johnson; siblings, Rosa L. Out- law and spouse James Outlaw, Andrew Johnson (Marcia John- son), Loretta J. Brown, Edna E. Williams, Yvette Evans, spouse, Jack Evans and Gregory John- son; honorary brother, Lemar- cus Huggins (Cho); aunts, Evelyn Cooper, Maryann Miller and Laura Smalley; uncle, Lamark Stillings and Oris; best friend, Loretta Rogers-Toombs and other relatives and friends.
