MR. BENNIE GILLEY
Mr. Bennie Gilley passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 7221 S. Sherrill St., Tampa, FL 33616 with Rev. Dr. Reginald R. Edwards Sr., Pastor of Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist, Callahan FL., officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. MASK RECOM- MENDED.
Bennie was born in Monti- cello, Florida on September 5, 1920. He relocated to Tampa where he met and married Martha Carter Gilley. Bennie re- tired from Hardaway and Paragon Construction Company as well as Louise Lykes Fergu- son. He was a proud man and a no-nonsense type of guy. He was a master of many things includ- ing construction which he passed on to his sons as well as his crews which he would lead to Christ by quoting one of his fa- vorite scriptures: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God in his right- eousness and all these things shall be added unto you.”
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Martha Carter Gilley; daughter, Gloria Carter; parents, Rance Gilley and Mas- sota Johnson; father and mother-in-law, Willie Lee Jr.
and Eunice Carter; siblings, Es- tella Gardner, Annie Lee John- son, Laura McCall, and Josephine Miller; brother-in-law, Timothy Carter; grandchildren, Byron B. Patty Sr. and Byron B. Patty Jr.; uncles, John C. John- son, and Arthur Howard; nephews, Fred Gardner, Alfred McCall, Johnny Cobb, Jimmy Gardner, and Isaac Carter; nieces, Marion Smith, and Juanita Serrano.

ROBERT CALVIN GRIFFIN
Mr. Robert Calvin Griffin passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, 9:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Me- morial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Rev. Prentiss Davis, officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Mr. Griffin was born Febru- ary 26, 1935, a native of Quit- man, Georgia, and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. He attended Brooks County Schools and Erwin Technical Center of Tampa, FL. He was a member of Revealing Truth Ministries and was employed as a Crossing Guard at Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, where he re- tired.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert Griffin; mother, Charlie B; brother, Mose Griffin; and daughter, Rutha Griffin Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Felicia; daughters, Lillian Griffin, Billie Denise Allen (Michael), Pamela Brown (Ted), Avangle Griffin, Robin C. Griffin Fitts (Carl Jr.), Zemetrious N. Griffin (Evens), and Mary Linda Jenkins (Gus); sons, Moses Robinson, Brian Lockette (Beckie), Donald Lamar Lockette (Tracey), Christopher Lockette (Mariela), and Matthew Lockette (Mar- garet); 39 grandchildren; special cousins, Jimmy B, and Beachie Mae; and a host of great grands, great great grands, and loving family and friends.

JAMES HARDRICK
Mr. James Hardrick passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, 3:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa FL 33606, with Rev. Prentiss Davis, officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
James was born August 30, 1971, in Tampa, FL to Orange (James Hardrick) and Cleo Gre- gory. He completed his formal education in the Hillsborough County Public Schools and was a graduate of Hillsborough High School. After graduating, he re- ceived his Cosmetology license and enjoyed a 28-year career for his love and passion of Hair- styling. He moved to Vero Beach, FL to care for his mother Cleo, where he would later reside. He was also actively employed as an Activity Director for Memory Care at Renaissance Senior Liv- ing of Vero Beach, FL., and would often travel to Tampa to help his longtime clients who he loved and cherished look and feel their best.
James is preceded in death by: his parents, Orange (James Hardrick), Tampa, FL and Cleo Gregory (Willie Bob Gregory) of Vero Beach, FL.; grandparents, Ola Mae and Allen Gorman of Huntingtown, MD., grandfather, Hoarch Hardrick of Byromville, GA., grandmother, Allene Hardrick of Tampa, FL.; cousin, Kevin Daniels of Tampa, FL.; and aunt, Beatrice Swell of Prince Frederick, MD.
James is survived by: his fa- vorite aunt, Lucille Daniels; cousins, Curtis Daniels, Gary Jackson and Angel Beacham, all of Tampa, FL; brother and sis- ters, Johnnie Jones, Dawn Bow- man, Synovia Taylor and Yolanda Boyd; like mothers, Mrs. Jacqueline Cross and Mrs. Cynthia Mitchell, who were his longtime clients along with Dawne Harden, Nettie Miller, and Catherina Terrylong; god- daughters, Bianca Adams and Nia Barton; Albertha Bell and family; close friends, Nichola Murphy, Ericka Starks, and Monica Harris; and a host of many longtime clients over the years and sorrowing extended family and friends.

JESSICA F. MORRIS
Ms. Jessica F. Morris passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke A. M. E. Church, 2709 N. 25th Street, Tampa, FL. 33605, with the Reverend Dr. Mel Harris, Pastor of Destiny Baptist Church, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Morris was a native of Tampa, Florida, and a resident of Tampa for more than sixty years. She was born on September 9, 1961, to Charles Morris, Sr., and Nettie Morris. She attended Jef- ferson High School, graduating with the Class of 1979. While at- tending Jefferson High School, Jessica joined the newly created gospel choir. After high school she became a founding member of the Tampa Philharmonic Choir under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Nathaniel B. Hill. She worked as a Veterinarian Tech at Wolf Animal Hospital for many years, and she loved the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
She was preceded in death by: her siblings, Diane Taylor, and Charles Morris, Jr.; and beloved aunt, Jessie Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memory: nephew, Rawn Cosby Sr.; nieces, Shannon Williams (Greg), Erma Morris, and Char- lene Andrew (Daniel); great nieces and nephews, Brittany, Rawn Jr., Jalen, Jordyn, Kaleb, Jasmyn, Chloe, Chyann, Cleve- land III, Colleen, and Daniel Jr.; great great nieces and nephews, Cameron, Summer, Kobe, Rawn III, and Nash; aunt, Amanda Fulcher; devoted cousins, Rose Taylor (Reverend Raymond), Brenda Siplin (Anthony), Fred Davis, Jackie Blanton (Emma), Eugene Morton (Joyce Ann), Ed- wina Archibald, Ursula Salih, Elsia Bristole, Edward Jr, Tina Gadson, and Cherie Griffin; God children, Krysten Walker, Mia McCoy, Marc McCoy, and Jordan Wortham; lifelong friends, Sonja McCoy (Vince), Kim Walker, Gregory Mitchell (Beverly), An- thony Arnold, Reverend Dr. Nathaniel Hill (Bernie), and Car- olyn Stover; brother and sister in Christ, Therman Wortham (Artis); and a host of other griev- ing relatives and friends.
