STEPHANIE YVONNE SHEPPARD SNEAD
Sister Stephanie Yvonne Sheppard Snead passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Fu- neral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, 10:30 a.m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 N. 30th St., Tampa, FL 33610, Superintend- ent Charles Davis, officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Florida National Ceme- tery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513. MASK REC- OMMENDED.
Sister Snead was born Feb- ruary 6, 1962, in Tampa, Florida to Deacon Leroy Sheppard, Sr., and Mother Dorothy L. Shep- pard. She was educated in the Public Schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from King High School, Class of 1980. She enlisted into the United States Army in 1981 and served this country until 1992. She has been a member of College Hill Church of God in Christ since 1962. She was active in the Sanc- tuary Choir and Nurses Unit. She worked within the Health Care System for over 17 years.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Matthew Young, II; mother, Dorothy L. Sheppard; father, Deacon Leroy Sheppard; and sister, Sharon Sheppard Gardener.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Bernard Snead of Plant City, FL; 2 daughters, Stephanie McAllis- ter (Kenneth Jr.) of Thonoto- sassa, FL and Camille Young of Plant City, FL; step-sons, Aaron Snead of Plant City, FL, Roscoe Snead of Plant City, FL and Eric Redfield Snead (Kenyetta) of Plant City, FL; 2 brothers, Leroy Jr. of Lakeland, FL and Michael (Coral) of Thonotosassa, FL; 2 sisters, Carolyn Nicholson (Hilton) of Shreveport, LA, and Sylvia Goodwin of San Antonio, TX; 6 grandchildren, Aaliyah, Anthony, Kelis, Brianna, Ken- neth, III and Nasir; devoted best friends, LaShawn Chisholm and Terry Doe; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

MR. LEWIS MICHAEL BROWN
Home going celebration for Mr. Lewis Michael Brown will be held on Saturday June 18, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with a local pas- tor officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Lewis Michael Brown was born in Quincy, Florida on August 22, 1965 to the parentage of Jerry L. Brown and Annette Sipling Brown. Mr. Brown was a forklift driver with a local com- pany. Mr. Brown passed away on Tuesday June 7, 2022.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Jerry Lee Brown; grandparents, Anderson and Margaret Adel Brown, Willie C. and Minnie Sipling; and aunt, Jeanette Sipling.
Mr. Brown leaves to cherish precious memories of him with: his children, Ronald, Louis and Zana Brown; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jacoby, Anaya, Anyla, Ella, Elighjah and Giovanni; mother, Annette S. MRS. EMMA JEAN BAKER

Mrs. Emma Jean Baker was a native of Macon, Georgia and a res- ident of Tampa, Florida for 67 years. She was born on October 25, 1949 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Laura Gilmore. She at- tended public schools in the Tampa area. Mrs. Baker was a member of New Restoration Ministry.
Mrs. Emma J. Baker was pre- ceded in death by: her beloved hus- band, Charlie Jr. Baker; sister and brother-in-law, Mattie Mae and husband, Bryant Scarlett; and sis- ter, Joann Herring; brothers, Ron- nie Daniel and Walter Gilmore and step-son, Kelvosia Baker.

MR. NUGENE DUCKWORTH, II
A home going celebration for Mr. Nugene Duckworth, II will be held on Saturday June 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with local pastor officiating.
Nugene was born on July 16, 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Nugene Duckworth and Cleanna Scruggs. He is the 5th of 6 children. He was a family man who loved spending time with his children, family and friends. He had very strong work ethics. He started as an apprentice and quickly mas- tered the HVAC industry in- cluding running his own HVAC company. He was an entrepre- neur/business man who started multiple businesses including his beloved game room. He was a people person who loved mo- torcycles, cars, and dogs.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Nugene Duckworth and Cleanna Scruggs; grand- mother, Lillian Scruggs and brother, Thomas Scruggs.
He leaves cherished memo- ries of him with: his children, Nugene Duckworth III, Jada Duckworth, Jadyn Duckworth and Omari Nugene Duckworth; siblings, Shona Lily, Bishop Zayne Scruggs, Kee Scruggs and Laronda Magarinos; aunts, De- lores White and Shirley Harvey who were like a mother to him; extended friends family and a host of other loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and special friends.

MR. AVERY B. SIMS
On June 6, 2022 Mr. Avery Sims received his precious wings and is now with the Lord. Homegoing services are sched- uled for Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 1 PM at Exciting Faith Alive Mt. Silla Church 5705 E. 32nd Ave., Tampa, FL 33619 pastor Tony Hawkins pastor officiat- ing. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Avery was a resident of Tampa, Florida for the first half of his life where he lived with extended family. As a young boy he was a rebel without a cause and was ultimately raised by the streets. After many years of trial and tribulations he moved to the Bronx, New York where he resided until his last day. He was a born Hustler. At a young age he showed no desire to work for others and focused on the path of entrepreneurship. Avery was active in the music industry for years. He had a thriving wa- termelon business where he was able to bless a few people with employment. He shared with many and would give his last to anyone in need.
Avery was preceded in death by: his father Nathaniel Sims Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Ozell: his sisters, Rachel, Valerie, Princess, Tevolia and Josephine; his brothers, David and Nathaniel; special 1st cousin, Demitrius Gibbs; along with us, there are a host of fam- ily members and friends who will miss him dearly and cherish

Simms will be held this Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm at Harmon Funeral Home 5002 North 40th Street Tampa, Florida 33610. Friends are asked to arrive for the home going service at Exciting Faith Alive Mt. Silla Church on Satur- day at 12:45pm.
