Kanye West Says He Plans To Leave Adidas And Gap
Gabrielle Union Should Score Her First Oscar Nod For ‘The Inspection’
The ongoing drama between Kanye West and his collabo- rative partners Adidas and Gap continues this week.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Ye confirmed that he plans to branch out from having corporate partners for his Yeezy brand after his cur- rent deals with the German sportswear brand and the clothing retailer end in 2026 and 2030, respectively.
“It’s time for me to go it alone,” West told Bloomberg. “It’s fine. I made the compa- nies money. The companies made me money. We created ideas that will change apparel forever. Like the round jacket, the Foam Runner, the slides that have changed the shoe in- dustry. Now it’s time for Ye to make the new industry. No more companies standing in between me and the audi- ence.”
In recent months, West has called his current corporate partner Adidas out after he al-

Aries Spears Is Finally Speaking
Aretha Franklin's Unsealed FBI
Aries Spears is finally speaking out about the groom- ing and molestation lawsuit in- volving him and famous comedienne Tiffany Had- dish. Earlier this month, an anonymous female plaintiff al- leged that the two stars sexually abused her and her younger brother during an inappropri- ate comedy skit.
The 47-year-old comedian and Haddish were sued by a pair of siblings who claimed they were “groomed” and co- erced into taking part in an ex- plicit skit called “Through a Pedophiles Eyes.” The inappro-
boy. Haddish played the child’s mother in the sexually suggestive video. According to the suit, the unidentified plain- tiffs claimed they were 14 and 7 when they filmed the racy skit.
“I already felt like my career was over. Before all this. I thought I was blackballed and my s**t was over, but I always said, I felt like I was one thing away from the turnaround, but now with this, I’m almost cer- tain that Tombstone is written,” the Chase star said. Spears went on to thank his mother for her love and support through- out the ongoing dispute.

The FBI was keeping tabs on late singer Aretha Franklin's civil rights ac- tivism in the 1960s and '70s, according to documents re- cently declassified by a jour- nalist using the Freedom of Information Act.
Files obtained by journalist Jen Dize and published in the Substack newsletter Courage News on Thursday indicate that the FBI showed "repeated and disgusting suspicion" of Franklin, as described by Dize. She wrote on Twitter Thursday that she first re- quested the documents in 2018, when the "Respect" singer died at age 76.
The documents denote Franklin's 1967 appearance at a convention hosted by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference under Dr. Martin Luther King, as well as Franklin's father Clarence "C.L." The FBI tracked Franklin ardently in the late '60s and '70s, and even once used a "suitable pretext telephone call" to Los Angeles' Ambassa- dor Hotel in November 1972 to determine that the Black Pan- ther Party had contacted Franklin via phone, the doc- uments show.
