Murder Of 14-Year-Old Draws Death Penalty For Suspect
Three Teenagers Charged With Auto Burglaries
Music Teacher Charged With Sexual Battery On Student

In March 2022, a father signed up his 15-year-old child for guitar lessons at the Music Showcase, 402 Oakfield Dr., in Brandon. Once a week, the child would have music les- sons with the teacher, 34- year-old Jason Troche. Beginning in June 2022 until September 2022, Troche had sexual contact with his student multiple times. The student did not consent to this sexual contact during the lessons with the teacher. Troche also sent inappropriate messages through social media to his student.

said, “It’s upsetting that a per- son put into a position of trust and care for one of our chil- dren has violated that trust with his disgusting actions.
“We’re not done with this case. We continue to investi- gate, and ask if there are any more victims of this music teacher, to please reach out to us. Let us seek justice for you, and get you the help and care you will need.”
Jason Troche admitted to investigators he knew the victim was underage, and that he had sexual relations with the victim.

Police arrested three teenagers linked to several overnight auto burglaries. They were taken into custody Wednesday.
According to the Tampa Police Department, just be- fore 2 a. m., on Wednesday, September 14, officers re- sponded to the 7500 block of S. Kissimmee St., after a vic- tim reported seeing multiple suspects burglarizing vehi- cles and the garage of a neighbor’s home on the same block.
Patrol officers responded, locating approximately seven unlocked vehicles that had been ransacked and a garage door open due to the garage door opener being accessible inside the unlocked vehicle. Officers began canvassing the area, later locating the suspects walking along W. Interbay Blvd.
Josbel Rodriguez, 15, was found to be in posses- sion of a 9mm pistol in his waistband, along with stolen credit cards and a stolen mil- itary identification card link- ing him back to a victim of the Kissimmee St. burglaries. Rodriguez, along with Giovanni Iannuzzi, 16,

and Marcus Gray, 15, his accomplices in the auto bur- glaries, were each arrested and charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling (felony) and multiple counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance (felony).
Rodriguez is facing ad- ditional charges of carrying a concealed firearm and minor in possession of a firearm. Officers are still investigating to determine the owner of the weapon.
As a reminder, the Tampa Police Department encour- ages all residents to lock their vehicles and remove any valuables from plain sight to reduce the risk of auto burglaries.
NILEXIA ALEXANDER ... Murder Victims
The Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office is seek- ing the death penalty for the suspect in the murder case of a 14-year-old girl. The body of Nilexia Alexander was found on May 6, 2022. Police responded to the 100 block of W. Floribraska in reference to shots fired in the area. When they arrived, they discovered the body of Nilexia Alexan- der. She had been shot sev- eral times shortly before 4 a. m. She had been reported as a runaway at the time of her death.
In July 2022, police ar- rested 44-year-old Ronny Walker. Walker was re- leased from Florida State Prison on November 15, 2021. He was taken into custody on July 8th, and charged with premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm of Nilexia Alexander.
Tampa Police said through investigative techniques, de- tectives were able to tie Walker’s vehicle to the vehi- cle that was in the area during the time of the murder. Addi- tionally, cellphone evidence placed the victim inside Walker’s vehicle around the time of the murder.

cuted on Walker’s vehicle and evidence was sent to FDLE. Results from FDLE tested positive with the vic- tim’s DNA. U. S. Marshals took Walker into custody. Walker is currently being held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bond.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against Walker.
Detectives also arrested 45-year-old Robert Quincey Creed, Jr., and charged him with accessory after the fact of premediated first-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Hillsborough County Jail. His bond was set at $100,000. Po- lice did not release informa- tion that linked Creed to the murder.
