Two Elderly Men Shot While Sitting Under Canopy
Driver Critical, Siblings Arrested In Road Rage Crash
      Two Tampa men are re- covering after being shot Monday afternoon. Both re- ceived non-life threatening injuries.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the shoot- ing took place at approxi- mately 3:45 p.m. Both men were sitting under a canopy on E. Genesee Street, when someone they did not know approached them on foot. The unidentified assailant
fired several rounds at both men.
One man was struck in the face and the other victim was struck in the lower part of both legs. Both men were transported to the hospital and were listed in stable con- dition. Police did not release the identities of the victims, but said one man was in his 60s and the other in his 70s.
The shooting remains under investigation.
Detectives with the St. Petersburg Police Depart- ment have arrested a brother and sister. They were charged with a road rage in- cident that left a 21-year-old man in extremely critical condition.
According to police, at 11 a. m., on, September 17, 2022, the motorcycle was traveling east on Central Av- enue, approaching the 5100 block, when the sedan pas- senger, Solimar Rosario, 31, hung out the passenger window, taunting the motor- cyclist. The driver, 32-year- old Narciso Rosario, then intentionally drove the Lin- coln into the motorcycle, causing it to go into oncom- ing westbound traffic and

collide head-on with a west- bound truck. The suspect ve- hicle left the scene.
Detectives determined that a crash involving the motorcycle, initially released as a hit and run crash, was caused intentionally by the driver and passenger of the white Lincoln Mercury

sedan.
The driver of the Lincoln,
Narciso Rosario, 32, was charged with attempted murder in the second-de- gree. His sister, Solimar, was charged with attempted murder in the 2nd degree.
The investigation is con- tinuing.

Ybor City Bartenders, Server Arrested For Selling Drugs
 Into Wrong Car’
On September 17th, at 1:20 a. m., Tampa Police officers were sent to the 1000 block of Arch Street. When they ar- rived, they learned that a man was injured by gunfire. The officers rendered aid to the wounded man, but Tampa Fire Rescue arrived and pro- nounced the man deceased.
Detectives have investi- gated the death and sent the case to the Hillsborough State Attorney’s Office to deter- mine if charges will be filed against the unidentified driver.
According to police, the 19-year-old victim was hang- ing out with friends on South Howard Avenue. Police said the victim had caught an Uber to his residence near the 1000 block of W. Arch Street prior to the shooting. After getting out of his Uber, the man is said to have attempted to enter the vehicle parked nearby. into his vehicle, shot the man, striking him in the upper body. The driver said he feared for his life. The unidentified man remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Detectives learned that the individual shot was a cur- rent student at the University of Tampa.
According to local news outlets, the victim has been identified as Carson Sen- field, of Orchard Park, New York.

rested on a failure to appear (operating an unregistered vehicle and driving with li- cense suspended); and Ash- ley Poole, a server at Coyote Ugly Saloon, 2 counts of de- livery of a controlled sub- stance near a church.
Chief of Police Mary O’Conner said, “We will not tolerate individuals using businesses in our city as their playground for illegal activ- ity.” She continued, Ybor City is one of the most popular at- tractions in Tampa for both our residents and tens of thousands of visitors to our city every month. We will continue working to keep this area meant for fun as a safe place to visit.”
     Undercover detectives with the Tampa Police De- partment arrested four indi- viduals after issuing warrants for 6 for drug trans- actions. Those arrested were employees of bars and night- clubs in Ybor City.
The employees received several charges after the un- dercover officers were able to make drug buys that ranged from cocaine to Adderall over a 2-month period.
Called “Operation Last Call,” the operation netted the arrest of bartenders and servers at the Southern Night Club, White Lie Bar, Coyote Ugly Saloon and Tangra Nightclub.
The press release said
those arrested would con- duct their transactions with customers by passing the drugs to clients through shot glasses, underneath trays and inside of receipt holders.
Those arrested and their charges were: Brandon Brinson, 33, bartender at Southern Night Club, 2 charges of delivery of con- trolled substance within 100 feet of a church; Carlos Diaz, 33, bartender at Tan- gra Nightclub, delivery of a controlled substance near a church; Promise Toby, a bartender at the White Lie Bar, 3 counts of delivery of a controlled substance within 100 feet of a church and ar-
