The load to clinical failure of the Revo knot, Lieurance-Modified Roeder, and the Savoie-Modified Roeder
was comparable to that of the hand-tied square knot and superior to the Tennessee Slider and Duncan
loop when using Ethibond suture. When PDS suture was used, the Savoie-Modified Roeder, the Tennessee
Slider, the Revo knot and the Duncan loop were statistically comparable to the hand-tied square knot and
superior to the Lieurance-Modified Roeder for load to clinical failure (Fig. 49 ) (23 ).
