The book documents Richard’s early years battling with undiagnosed ADHD, anxiety and autism. He eventually
found his purpose and established a successful business. After building his forever home with his wife, his life
turned upside down when he received the tragic news that he had Stage 4 cancer.

The story sees him through his tumultuous teens and twenties where he battled an addiction and near
imprisonment, making huge mistakes along the way. Through all of this he came out on the other side as a
well-rounded, well-respected, and much-loved husband and friend.

Richard incorporated humour and love despite being dealt with the worst card and the inescapable truths, that
he will not survive his sickness and his wife will be faced with being a widow at the age of 42.

Richard passed away in late 2023 and his book is being published posthumously by his wife Lisa.

Richard Davies was a thirty-seven-year-old retired entrepreneur and philanthropist, having previously worked in
property development. He was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer as a newlywed and was given weeks to
live at the time he began writing his memoir. After going through sixteen rounds of intense chemotherapy he
was given the news that his cancer was terminal. Richard passed away in late 2023, and his book is being
published posthumously.
