• Gathering (also called a ‘visitation’, ‘wake’ or ‘calling hours’) allows family and friends to gather in a room with the departed loved one
• (in an open or closed casket) and gives everyone the opportunity to say goodbye and offer their support and sympathy to the bereaved.
• Funeral or Memorial Ceremonies can take place at a funeral home, in a church or even at your home. The ceremony serves to celebrate, honour and remember the life of the deceased. Whether traditional or unique, both the visitation and the ceremony can be personalized to reflect the individuality of your loved one.
• Graveside ceremonies are held at the cemetery and allow family and friends to be present as their loved one is transferred to his or her final disposition through ground burial.
Memorialization Markers
The grieving process does not end with the service or celebration and neither does our service to you. Typically, the ceremony is just the first step to healing and recovery. We can help you create a lasting tribute that gives yourself, your family, and your friends a permanent place to visit their loved one. This place can serve as a focus for your memory and provide a private place for reflection and peace. It can also serve as a location for family and friends to commemorate important occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.
As the years pass, a permanent memorial can become a link to the past for younger generations who may not have had the opportunity to meet the loved one during their lifetime. Customized choices for burial and cremation memorialization are as limitless as your imagination. We provide you with choices of monuments
made from the finest materials and installed to memorialize your loved one for eternity. Your loved one’s monument may be personalized with a ceramic photo disc or an etched scene whether it be artwork provided by yourselves or something you choose.
