Rich remembers other students who have taken their experience to
other places. Warren Barker is now one of the lead instructors at the
International Yacht Restoration School in Newport, Rhode Island. Brad
Dimock now runs Fretwater Boatworks in Flagstaff, Arizona, specializing
in drift boats and river dories used in the Grand Canyon. And Hilary
Russel learned boatbuilding at WoodenBoat School back in the 80s and
is one of the leading proponents of feather-weight canoe construction at
his shop in Sheffield, Massachusetts.
