OUR APPROACH

COUNTRIES TAKE THE LEAD. ENVISION works with Ministries

of Health and Education to reach the 2020 global NTD goals for
control and elimination – increasing and maintaining program
coverage, strengthening capacity, and reducing the disease

burden. To achieve this goal, ENVISION focuses support on:

1. Increasing treatment coverage for people at

risk of NTDs

2. Improving the evidence base for action to

control and eliminate targeted NTDs

3. Strengthening the environment for the

implementation of national integrated NTD programs

WE VALUE PARTNERSHIPS. ENVISION works closely

with Benin’s Ministry of Health, who provides overall
leadership for NTD activities in country. ENVISION

activities in Benin are led by RTI International,
maintaining strong coordination with other partners
supporting NTD control and elimination. ENVISION also

partners with MTN Benin, a mobile phone provider, to
distribute per diems to volunteers and supervisors who
support treatment campaigns throughout the country.
