                      Tablature





          In opposition to sheet music, tablature is much less universal and less formal. In the diagram be-
          low you will see an example of a typical chart of tablature.

          Let’s break this diagram down so that you will understand exactly what you are looking at.
          TAB is made up of 6 horizontal lines.
          Each line in TAB represent the 6 strings of the guitar.
          The top line indicates the 1st or high E string and the bottom line indicates the 6th or low E string.

          For each string, we put the number that represents the fret of the fretboard that should be
          pressed. This is how we would play the example below
