CALVIN ORR II
Flint Community Schools, industrious parents, Flint’s Fifth Ward, incredible mentors and a fair share of luck have contributed to the Social Scientist that is Calvin Orr II. Calvin’s parents modeled the importance of cultivating relationships, while his stepmother exemplified brilliant teaching. Calvin earned a BS in communications, interdisciplinary leadership, and nonprofit administration from Eastern Michigan University and a MSW specializing in community partnerships from Georgia State University. Currently, Calvin is leveraging
his personal experiences, education and talents to serve as a stock broker at E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley and as Principal Consultant at Stoëx LLC where he has trained hundreds of individuals representing dozens of progressive organizations, nationally.
