WORKFORCE TRAINING
▶ PRODUCTION OPERATIONS
Mott Community College’s Production Operation training prepares students with core competencies of manufacturing production at the front-line (entry-level and supervisor) to raise the level of performance of production workers ensuring productivity and competitiveness. Students who pass the qualifications test will earn the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) - Certified Production Technician (CPT) Certification.
CREDENTIAL: National Career Readiness Certificate; Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30; Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician; Mott Community College Career Credential Certificate
PROGRAM LENGTH: 12 weeks
▶ PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLERS (PLC) TRAINING
This class is designed for the maintenance technician who will be trouble shooting equipment that has automation installed. The participants will learn about input components such as photo eyes, limit switches, momentary and fixed switches, proximity switches, etc. The participant will be introduced to output components.
