  CAREER, EMPLOYMENT & JOB PLACEMENT
▶ BACK TO WORK 50+ COACHING
The AARP Foundation, the charitable affiliate of AARP, serves vulnerable people 50 and older by creating and advancing effective solutions that help them secure the essentials. BACK TO WORK 50+ Coaching, this nationwide initiative makes it easier for unemployed and under-employed older adults, especially individuals with incomes less than $40,000/year, to improve their job search skills under
the guidance of trained career coaches. The Overview Workshop (formerly 7SS Workshop), followed by a Job Campaign Coaching cohort helps individuals over age 50 use a job campaign checklist, worksheets, and videos to set up and launch a job search plan for today’s economy.
▶ CAREER RESOURCE CENTER (CRC)
Career Resources Services provides access to MCC’s job search resources, job developers and career navigators to the general public. Services include, but are not limited to: job placement, job search engines, computer lab access, resume development, mock interviews, access to hiring events, and career guidance and exploration.
▶ CAREER EMPLOYMENT CENTER (CEC)
The Career and Employment Center (CEC) is a one stop shop for career exploration through career placement. Career and personality assessments are administered to students with career counselors available to interpret student results. On campus and off campus placement opportunities are accessible in the CEC. Resume development and other career services are available to students. The CEC is also host to the Work/study program, Gateway to College program, and Corporate Services and Lifelong Learning.
