You’re in town for the 2019 Black Women’s Expo. You were the keynote speaker last
night, tell us about what you’ll be doing tomorrow.

I’m excited to be a part of The Black Women’s Expo Fabulous and 50 Plus Day
sponsored by AARP. This is a day of pampering, empowering and re-energizing
women! I want everyone to stop by AARP’s Fabulous and 50 Plus Pavilion today

between 3-4PM for a chance to meet me. I will also be talking about my career,
reinvention and new book during AARP’s Fabulously Ageless session starting at 5PM.
All will happen TODAY at McCormick Place.

AARP has an initiative encourage those 50+ to Disrupt Aging. What exactly does

that mean?

• AARP is changing the conversation about age and aging in this country. Through

the Disrupt Aging Initiative, they’re helping people understand how we can all be
healthy, financially secure and happy as we age.

• Together, we celebrate those who own their age. We hold a mirror up to against

beliefs; discuss new ways of living and aging, and the solutions that make this
possible.

• Today, adults 50 and older face distinct challenges and have different goals than
those in their 30’s and 40’s. The 50-plus are at a different place in their lives and
they’re motivated by different things.
