                                                              Big. Bold. Beautiful. These three words are small in
                                                              comparison to the larger than life personality of comedian Erica
                                                              Faye Watson. A Chicago native, Erica’s quick-fire wit, amazing
                                                              stage presence and hilarious opinions on life, knock out every
                                                              audience one laugh at a time!
                                                              Through her stand-up comedy, she tackles issues of size
                                                              acceptance, racial & gender stereotypes and other timely issues in
                                                              a hilarious way that educates as well as entertains.

                                                              Her acting talent has lead to principal roles in films such as
                                                              Christine Swanson’s “BlacKorea”, Spike Lee’s “ChiRaq”, Chris
                                                              Rock’s Top Five, Steven Soderberg’s “Side Effects”, Lee Daniel’s
                                                              “Precious”  as well as top rated tv shows such as Showtime’s
                                                              “The Chi”, NBC’s “Chicago Fire”, Fox’s “Empire” and TV One’s
                                                              “Love That Girl”.

                                                              Erica’s fearlessness make her a fan favorite on ABC7’s Windy City
                                                              Live, WCIU’s The Jam, Freeform’s “Happily Ever After” and TLC’s
                                                              “Big Sexy”.
                                                              Born and raised in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, with a BA
                                                              and MA from Columbia College Chicago, Erica Watson is an
                                                              actor, stand-up comedian at clubs around the country, and
                                                              film/television director.  She is a St. Thomas the Apostle
                                                              Elementary School alum (where Bryant Gumbel and Steve Allen
                                                              attended), as well The Chicago Children’s Choir and The Merit
                                                              School of Music. She currently stars in the short film “BlacKorea”
                                                              and has appeared in the Oscar nominated film “Precious,”
                                                              “ChiRaq,” “Top Five,” and “Side Effects” following starring in the
                                                              feature film “Dirty Laundry.”  She has also been featured on TLC’s
                                                              Big Sexy, The Dr. Phil Show, The Oxygen Network, The WE
                                                              Channel, Black Entertainment (BET), MSG-TV, You & Me This
                                                              Morning, The TV Guide Network and is a recurring
                                                              correspondent for “Windy City Live,” and “The Jam.” Watson is
                                                              also a blogger for the Huffington Post.
