Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. 2019 CONVENTION
Overview

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated is a private, not-for-profit

organization founded in 1911 whose purpose is to assist and support the
community through established programs in local communities throughout
the world. Since its founding, the Fraternity has over 125,000 members with

700 undergraduate and alumni chapters in nearly every state of the United
States, and international chapters in Nigeria, South Africa, the West Indies, the

United Kingdom, Germany, Korea and Japan. The Fraternity honors the
principal of achievement and seeks to raise the sights of Black youths and
stimulate them to accomplishments higher than might otherwise be realized

or even imagined.

The Conclave provides a platform for AARP to share important resources on
health care, financial security and personal fulfillment – better known as
“health, wealth and self.” Over four days, AARP will engage members

through a financial seminar and exhibit experiences focused on these key
areas.
