Steven Patrick
Class of 2021
Steven’s dedication to excellence is evidenced by his willingness to always go above and beyond. Not only did he take on a leadership role at the local level as the Secretary of the Military Medical Student Association (MMSA) at WesternU, but he also became a leader at the national level as the
Navy representative for the Student Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (SAMOPS). He also helped found the campus chapter for SAMOPS at WesternU in the hopes of helping future medical students gain better guidance and mentorship in military medicine. These efforts by Steven to provide a positive impact for military medicine is a testament to his commitment to outstanding performance, and we anticipate great success in his future career.
Brian Diep

Brian’s presence on the WesternU campus has been impactful
almost from his first day in class. Leadership, service, humanism, compassion and care for his fellow students – Brian checks all the boxes. Additionally, as the WesternU SOMA president, it was his goal
to empower his fellow leaders to achieve their passions. While committed to being a leader in
his community, Brian is also committed to helping his peers and classmates become strong leaders. His unparalleled dedication to COMP and his classmates earned him this special recognition.
