Pomona Rotary Club Award
This award is given to a first- or second-year student who demonstrates exceptional service to the community, solid academic progress, and excellent student comportment.
Towne & Gown Golf Classic Scholarship
This scholarship is presented to students who have demonstrated a strong background in community service, and who have been an active volunteers while attending WesternU. These students have committed to continuing their volunteer activism throughout their time at WesternU.
Jacqueline Sandoval
Class of 2022
To say that Jacqueline “Jackie” Sandoval is involved in the community is an understatement. Beginning as a tutor during her undergraduate years, Jackie has been dedicated to helping others. As a COMP student, Jackie is a Teaching Assistant, club leader, tutor, mentor, community educator,
and a standout among her peers. Her passion for working with the community led to her teaching suturing, ultrasound, anatomy, and health & wellness to youth and adults. Her passion and personality are a wonderful blend and Jackie is the embodiment of what a community servant should be.
