For the Girls, Inc. donated $85,000 to Faith
Regional Health Services to help fund the
purchase of a Faxitron, which is a mobile X-ray
machine that helps to decrease cost for the
hospital and patient while decreasing operative
time and limiting surgical incisions.

April 2017

The Gatsby Gala—A Roaring Good Time raised over
$140,000 for the Pediatrics Department. The largest Gala to
date, raised funds for a Dual Incu I Incubator, a first of its kind
incubator to have a built-in battery to support all of the
equipment needed to safely stabilize and transport a newborn
who has special needs, helping to improve perinatal and
newborn care of our tiniest patients.

May 2017

Pedal for Hope during the 2nd Annual
Norfolk Big Give raised over $3,000 for
the Hope Fund to benefit cancer patients
here at home. FRHS Administration,
Directors and Employees pedaled to
raise awareness and support of the
Hope Fund. Riders also signed the chalk
board to recognize family, friends
coworkers and patients affected by
cancer.

June 2017

The 22nd Annual Partners in Health Golf Classic saw a record
number of 42 teams participate and help raise more than $40,000
for the Family Meeting Room in the NEW Behavioral Health Unit
which is planned to open in July 2018. This family room will be the
largest meeting area for patients and families in the new unit and will
provide them with excellent care and comfort in a safe environment.
