August 2017

On, Friday, August 18th, the Foundation hosted
the 2nd Annual Game of Hearts Casino Night to
raise funds to bring the PulsePoint response
app to the City of Norfolk. The event raised
nearly $30,000—enough to bring the live-saving
app to our community and empower everyday
citizens to perform CPR on sudden cardiac vic-
tims in public places.

October 2017

Faith Regional Health Services employees came
together for the annual Employee Giving Drive!
Over 700 employees participated in the drive and
raised or pledged over $89,000! Employees
participating in the drive directed their donation to
Faith Regional Health Services departments or
programs that mean the most to them, making a
difference in the lives of our patients and their
families.

November 2017

In November, Nucor presented the Foundation
with a check for $150,000 from their annual
charity golf tournament, held each September.
The money raised will benefit the Carson Cancer
Center to update the chemotherapy suite for
cancer patients receiving treatments here in
northeast Nebraska.

December 2017

The 1st Annual Ties & Tiaras Children’s Dance
was held on Sunday, December 10th. The
enchanted event was designed for children to
enjoy a day filled with dancing, crafts, games,
silent auction and a special visit from Santa! 350
people attended this year’s first event and raised
$11,000 for TheraPlay, the pediatric therapy
program at Faith Regional Health Services.
