            2.0  SCOPE



            2.1     The overall aim of the LBMS is to promote a sensitive management approach, which protects,
                    manages and enhances the Site for the benefit of the users.


            2.2     This document provides a strategy for overall management and maintenance of the landscape
                    features of the Proposed  Development, including existing  features, hard and soft landscape
                    proposals and newly created habitats including trees, hedges, shrubs, amenity and wildflower
                    grassland and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).


            2.3     The LBMS has been prepared to provide an integrated approach to the  management of the
                    landscape, ecology and amenities associated with the Proposed Development. It is a dynamic

                    document that should be renewed on a regular basis, every 5 years or sooner if required, and
                    amended as circumstances change with the evolving changes of the Site.


                    Document Structure

            2.4     Section 3.0 describes the existing fauna and flora present in and around the Site, including key

                    species. Section  4.0  sets out the  vision, aims and objectives  for the  LBMS, and  Section  5.0
                    describes  the  Landscape  Management  Components  and  their  associated  maintenance  tasks.
                    Sections 6.0 and 7.0 describe the general maintenance and management tasks, which we set

                    out  in  an  annual  maintenance  schedule.  Finally,  Section  8.0  addresses  the  monitoring  and
                    review of the LBMS.
