                    Objectives:

                    • Secure a healthy structure for hedgerow, ornamental planting and trees and encourage

                           native ground flora development;
                    •      Extend and link the habitat areas of hedgerow and tree belts adjacent to the Site;
                    • Create a species diverse mix of wetland planting in association with newly introduced
                           SuDS;

                    •      Develop the value of proposed planting as components  of wildlife foraging corridors;
                           and
                    • Provide additional foraging and shelter for local wildlife.

                    Aim 4: Enhance the attractiveness and sense of place of the landscape setting

                    Objectives:

                    •      Enhance species composition with appropriate wildflowers;
                    • Enhance visual amenity by providing more diversity in terms of type and structure of
                           vegetation, including seasonal variety;
                    •      Specify locally characteristic species;

                    • Create mature standard tree cover at nodes such as road junctions, in hedgerows and
                           at settlement edges;
                    • Reintroduce positive landscape features of the area; and
                    • Create a legible landscape structure.

                    Aim 5: Soften and integrate the Proposed Development within the surrounding
                    landscape

                    Objectives

                    • Maintain and enhance the healthy growth and the landscape and visual amenity value
                           of existing and proposed vegetation; and

                    • Enhance and reinforce structural landscape features and habitats that contribute
                           towards a larger framework of green infrastructure throughout the Site.
