• Billing workshop hours on the system to show on engineer reports
You need to raise a new sales return with an in price and no out price – its that simple
Raise the order under Caterkwik Admin and put the engineer as the sales person
Matthew allows £17 per hour for workshop hours
• When sales ask “ How much would you charge for”
Its really simple , You just need to calculate the following into to your in price
1) Mileage there and back at 50 pence per mile so if its 248 mile its 496 total @ £248.00
2) Travel time so if its 3 hours away its 6 hours travel to allow there and back = £96.00
3) Rough time on site so e.g. install Combi allow 2 hours = £32.00 ( I recommend asking the
engineer who will be carrying out the job how long they estimate it will take to create a cost
as accurate as possible)
You now have your in price of the job which is £376.00 so now you can decide on an out-price bearing
in mind your in price is £376.00 so possibly £550? = £174.00 profit or even £625? = £249.00 profit
Also remind sales to add the line ref pre-charged installation prices. “Installation is to suitable existing
services within 1 meter. Any parts required or additional labour will be charged at our standard rate”
